The Breakers of Shadow booster set releasing in January builds off cards and themes from 2015’s biggest Dueling releases, meaning some of the best cards of the year will get better! Here are some must-haves from Dimension of Chaos that can help you prep for a new year of competition.

Kozmo monsters have been one of the most popular tournament strategies since they debuted, and they get even stronger with new cards from Breakers of Shadow. Kozmo Dark Destroyer was the heaviest of the heavy-hitters from Dimension of Chaos, packing 3000 ATK and an effect that destroys any one monster on the field when it’s Normal or Special Summoned. It’s a must-run now, and new Kozmo support makes it even more powerful.

Igknight Reload isn’t just for Igknights. Lots of Decks with Pendulum Monsters get a boost from Breakers of Shadow, and Reload’s great in all of them. It’s a Quick-Play Spell that lets you shuffle Pendulum Monsters from your hand back into your Deck, then lets you draw cards equal to the number you shuffled back, plus one more to replace Igknight Reload. It can fix up a wonky hand, help you make combos and is awesome with cards like Performage Damage Juggler and Performapal Skullcrobat Joker that can get you free Pendulum Monsters.

Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon is a new addition to the growing Odd-Eyes arsenal. It’s a Ritual Monster from Breakers of Shadow, and it works really well with all the previous “Odd-Eyes” monsters. Be sure to snag Odd-Eyes Fusion and Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon from Dimension of Chaos so that you can build around Gravity Dragon and make the most of its killer abilities.

Finally, Draco Face-Off is a powerful Quick-Play Spell that lets you choose one “Dracoslayer” Pendulum Monster and one “Dracoverlord” Pendulum Monster from your Deck. One of them randomly then goes to your field (as a monster in the Monster Zone or a Spell in the Pendulum Zone...your choice!), and the other goes to your Extra Deck face-up. You’ll want a few copies of Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord from Dimension of Chaos so you’ll have a Dracoverlord to search!
