For fans of Kite Tenjo’s Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, Premium Gold: Return of the Bling was a big treat! The new Number 95: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon struck fear into the hearts of Duelists everywhere, and just when they thought it was safe to go back into space, World Superstars dropped with four new cards for “Galaxy-Eyes” Decks!

“Photon Stream of Destruction” is the signature attack of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, and now, just like Dark Magic Attack and Inferno Fire Blast, it has its own Spell Card! Photon Stream of Destruction is a Quick-Play Spell that banishes any card on the field if you control a “Galaxy-Eyes” monster. Unlike most Quick-Play Spells, you can only play it during your own turn, but if you control Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon that limitation is lifted!

There are also two new cards to help you seek out and Summon Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon faster and more often than you ever could before. Galaxy Soldier is a 2000 ATK Level 5 monster that you can Special Summon by sending a LIGHT monster in your hand to the Graveyard. If you do Summon it that way, you get to add any “Galaxy” monster from your Deck to your hand! Once you have Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon in your hand, or even in your Graveyard if you’re playing cards like Dragon Shrine, you can Normal Summon the Level 1 Galaxy-Eyes Cloudragon and Tribute it to Special Summon your Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. At one Tribute, it’s a very economical way to bring out Kite’s ace monster!

Galaxy-Eyes Cloudragon also has a second effect that you can use while it’s in the Graveyard. Once per Duel, you can attach it from your Graveyard to one of the many “Galaxy-Eyes” Xyz Monsters as an Xyz Material. All of the Galaxy-Eyes Xyz Monsters are strong, and they only get stronger when you can back them up with Tachyon Transmigration! Tachyon Transmigration is one of the strongest Counter Trap Cards ever devised—it negates every card or effect your opponent played in an entire Chain and shuffles any of the cards involved that are on the field back into your opponent’s Deck. All the cards and effects that you played during that Chain still work as normal. You can only play this incredible card if you control a “Galaxy-Eyes” monster, but if you’re willing to go over to the side of the Barian Emperors and Summon a “Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon” monster, you can play Tachyon Transmigration from your hand without setting it!
