Ygo Red Eyes 3Clash of Rebellions features a brand-new Red-Eyes strategy for the first time this decade! Joey’s classic Red-Eyes B. Dragon has been reborn as Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon, and its fiery spirit is burning brighter than ever!

Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon is a Gemini monster—that means it’s considered a Normal Monster while it’s on the field or in your Graveyard, but if it’s on your side of the field, you can spend your Normal Summon for the turn to change it into a powerful effect monster. Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon’s special ability is to inflict 2400 damage to your opponent at the end of the Battle Phase if it successfully battled that turn. It doesn't matter if it was attacking a monster, attacking directly, or even being attacked—you'll still deal damage equal to the original ATK of Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon: 2400!

Ygo Red Eyes 2Getting Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon on the field is really easy. The Black Stone of Legend can be Tributed to Summon a Level 7 or lower “Red-Eyes” monster straight from your Deck, or if you’ve run out of Red-Eyes monsters, you can return a Level 7 or lower “Red-Eyes” monster from your Graveyard to your Deck and add The Black Stone of Legend back from your Graveyard to your hand instead.

Get two Level 7 monsters on the field, like two copies of Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon or a Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon and an original Red-Eyes B. Dragon, and you can combine the two to Xyz Summon Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon! Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon is a Rank 7 Xyz Monster that can’t be destroyed by card effects while it has Xyz Materials and also inflicts 500 damage to your opponent for every card or effect they resolve while it’s on the field. And if that wasn’t enough, it can also detach an Xyz Material during either player’s turn to Summon a “Red-Eyes” Normal Monster from your Graveyard.

Ygo Red Eyes 1Summon back Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon from your Graveyard (remember, it’s considered a Normal Monster there!) and then switch on its special ability during your own turn, and you can deal 7600 damage just between those two monsters. If your opponent uses even one card or effect while Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon is on the field, that’s enough to win the Duel outright!

Those three cards are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to cool new Red-Eyes stuff in Clash of Rebellions! There are also Red-Eyes revamps of famous monsters like Summoned Skull and B. Skull Dragon too!

Make sure to check them all out when Clash of Rebellions launches on August 7th! And don't forget the Sneak Peek August 1 and/or 2 at participating Official Tournament Stores!
