The Master of Pendulum Structure Deck is the first Structure Deck designed to let you use every form of Extra Deck Summoning! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon is the focus of this multi-disciplined strategy that attempts to transform it into three different forms: the Fusion Monster Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, the Synchro Monster Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon and the Xyz Monster Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon.

The Master of Pendulum Structure Deck uses “Magician” monsters like Timegazer Magician and Stargazer Magician to facilitate its Pendulum Summons. All of the “Magician” monsters are Spellcasters, so you can fuse any of them with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to Summon Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. To get the maximum three attacks per turn out of it, you’ll want to use a Level 5 or higher Magician, like Stargazer Magician, the new Dragonpit Magician or Oafdragon Magician. Oafdragon Magician is particularly useful because you can Pendulum Summon it and add Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon back from your Graveyard to your hand to use for your Fusion Summon.

How does Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon get to the Graveyard in the first place? It’s easy if you use it as Xyz Material for Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon! Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon is a Rank 7 monster Summoned by combining any two Level 7 monsters. Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Dragonpit Magician fit the bill. Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon shares the attack-blocking ability of Number 39: Utopia, but with the added benefit of Special Summoning an “Odd-Eyes” monster from your hand or Graveyard after negating an attack! And if Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon is sent to the Graveyard after being Xyz Summoned you get to replace it by Summoning any other “Odd-Eyes” monster from your Extra Deck for free!

One good choice is the Synchro Monster Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon. When you Summon it, you can convert one of the cards in your Pendulum Zones back into a monster and Special Summon it! While you control Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon, your opponent’s monster effects won’t activate during the Battle Phase, so you can attack freely without worrying about monsters that spawn more monsters when they’re destroyed.

If you want another “Odd-Eyes” monster to add to your Extra Deck arsenal, try the Fusion Monster Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon from Dimension of Chaos. It can use the Pendulum Monsters in your Extra Deck to negate enemy card effects, and it’s another monster you can Summon with Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon. When you Summon it, you’ll even get to kick a monster on the field back to your opponent’s hand, opening them up for a direct attack!
