The Phantom Knights from Wing Raiders return in Premium Gold: Infinite Gold with powerful new tools to keep up with the competition! Each Phantom Knight card has multiple effects—one you use when you play the card normally and another Graveyard related one that’s usually used after the card has been played and sent to the Graveyard.

Fans of the Rank 3 Xyz Summoning powers of Phantom Knights will love The Phantom Knights of Tomb Shield, the first Phantom Knight Trap Card that Summons itself as a Level 3 monster! During either player’s turn, you can activate it to Summon itself as a 0 ATK/0 DEF Level 3 DARK Warrior-Type monster in Attack Position, giving you even more Special Summoning power! But once you’re done using Tomb Shield as a monster and it has had a chance to chill in the Graveyard for a turn, you can banish it from your Graveyard during your own turn to negate the effects of a face-up Trap Card!

Offense and defense are bundled together in one package with The Phantom Knights of Dark Gauntlets! This Trap Card lets you send any “Phantom Knights” Spell/Trap from your Deck to the Graveyard, but also Summons itself back from the Graveyard as a monster when your opponent attacks you while you’re completely defenseless! Use it to send one of the Phantom Knights Trap Cards from Wing Raiders to the Graveyard so you can use them to Special Summon more monsters, or send The Phantom Knights of Tomb Shield so that you have a way to negate Traps ready to go on your own turn!

The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine is a little different than the other “Phantom Knights” Spell/Traps. It turns into a Level 4 DARK Warrior monster when you activate it, but it doesn’t have a method of using it from the Graveyard. Instead, if you have no Traps in your Graveyard, you can activate it during the same turn that you Set it— something that’s normally totally against the rules! It’s a perfect fit for any Deck that Summons Rank 4 monsters a lot and doesn’t play very many Trap Cards, but you can also use it easily in a Phantom Knight Deck by banishing all your Traps to Summon new monsters before you Set it!
