On Wednesday, October 7th as a part of the Reed Pop Super Week events, Masashi Kishimoto was a special guest at the Apple Store Soho. The event allowed 300 fans the chance to attend and see Kishimoto and hear his thoughts on the series. The moderator for this event was Christopher Butcher, the Director of the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF). He was joined on stage by Jo Otsuki, the editor of Naruto from Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and Mari Morimoto, the English-language translator of the series. The podcast went through a 30 minute Q&A with the creator which was followed by a 20 minute Q&A with fans.
