Shaddoll Decks win by Fusion Summoning a variety of high-powered Fusion Monsters that really puts a damper on other Special Summon heavy strategies—especially if they Special Summon a lot from the Extra Deck! Each Shaddoll Fusion Monster has a different Attribute and requires a monster of that Attribute as well as a “Shaddoll” monster as Fusion Material. Because of the Attribute requirement, it can be tough to load your Deck with off-theme or mismatched cards just to access your best Fusion Monsters. But thanks to Secrets of Eternity, you won’t have to anymore!

Nephe Shaddoll Fusion is an Equip Spell for Shaddoll monsters. It doesn’t give them an ATK or DEF boost, but it does change their Attribute from DARK to whatever you want. Nephe Shaddoll Fusion also has a built-in effect to let you Fusion Summon as long as you use the monster it’s equipped to as one of the Fusion Materials!

With the ability to change Attributes and Fusion Summon all in one card, it’s way easier to Summon powerhouse Fusion Monsters El Shaddoll Shekhinaga and El Shaddoll Grysta from The New Challengers. Grysta, in particular, is really useful because it can negate Pendulum Summons no matter how many monsters are Summoned!

Nephe Shaddoll Fusion is also the easiest of the “Shaddoll Fusion” Spells to retrieve from your Deck or Graveyard. As an Equip Spell, you can use Hidden Armory to pull it right out of your Deck or retrieve it from your Graveyard. It can also grab Snatch Steal, a card making its first appearance in the Advanced Format since 2007. Snatch Steal advances your Fusion strategy in a different way, allowing you to pilfer monsters of various Attributes from your opponent’s side of the field to use as Fusion Material!
