In a booster set filled with DARK monsters, one theme shines a light on them all! Stellarknights receive a number of new monsters in The New Challengers, but the Xyz Monster, Stellarknight Triverr, is the shining star among them.

Stellarknight Triverr is Xyz Summoned by using three Level 4 “tellarknight” monsters. It’s more specific than Stellarknight Delteros, but it's far more powerful. When you Xyz Summon Triverr, all other cards on the field are bounced back to their owner’s hands, giving you a free shot at your opponent’s Life Points. You can then attack your opponent’s hand by detaching an Xyz Material from Triverr to send one random card from your opponent’s hand to the Graveyard. And like Delteros, if Triverr is sent to the Graveyard while it has at least one Xyz Material, you get to Summon a “tellarknight” monster, this time from your Graveyard.

All of that sounds great, but it’s actually even better than it sounds. Take the “return to hand” effect for instance. For Synchro, Fusion and other Xyz Monsters, that means they go back to the Extra Deck. Every such monster is made up of a number of smaller monsters, and your opponent won’t get those cards back like they would if they were left on the field. Fewer cards actually returned to the hand means fewer cards in your opponent’s hand, increasing the chances of Triverr’s second effect hitting a crucial comeback card like Shaddoll Fusion or Soul Charge. And thanks to the effects of the various ”Satellarknight” monsters that you use to Summon Triverr in the first place, it’s fairly likely that when Triverr is sent to the Graveyard you can just retrieve all the Materials used to Summon it in the first place so you can just Summon another Triverr.

As a monster that can eliminate other cards without targeting or destroying them, and can even chase them out of your opponent’s hand, Triverr is extremely hard to stop. Thanks to being a Stellarknight, Triverr is extremely easy to Summon. Put them together, and you’ve got one of the best Rank 4 monsters in the game!

You can find Stellarknight Triverr and other new Stellarknights in The New Challengers!
