Happy New Year! Or as they say in Japanese, Akemashite Omedeto! 2016 is off to a great start with this multi-character super sparkly cover! Thanks for sticking with us through another year! Who knows what the next year will bring for our heroes, but my guess is it will have something to do with yelling, punching and kicking. And friendship! Here's to the new year!

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

Major flashback this episode! It includes more details about the thrashing of the land of Zou and how Chopper and the others are entangled with the catastrophe! Plus some tantalizing clues about the whereabouts of the main missing crewmember—Sanji!

One Piece

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki

Soma has done it! He's made food so good it won the Shokugeki despite the judges being paid off. And now it's time for a dorm celebration! In the midst of the party, some characters come to terms with the crazy turn of events. In other words...character growth! It's one of my favorite aspects of manga, because characters change and grow over the course of the story and watching their journey is a huge part of the fun.

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

Congratulations, Kohei Horikoshi! The date of the My Hero Academia anime has been announced! Starting April 2016, you can see our heroes-in-training as beautifully animated characters! As for this chapter, the kids' training ramps up, and they get pushed further than ever before!

My Hero Academia

Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi

There are major happenings going on in Nisekoi! Major as in THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING. Santa must have come by and given Raku a big bag of clues because he's finally starting to see the light about his true feelings. And with some of the girls officially out the picture, it seems as if we're headed for the big Chitoge vs. Onodera showdown! The race for real love, as opposed to false love, is officially on!

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

Sally's fighting dirty....real dirty as in a giant mud man! But she's not just slinging mud, she's got her own bevy of super destructive magic spells. Making matters worse, Gauche has made a beeline for the door with his sister in tow. Can Asta pull a Mr. Clean act and take down this mucky madman?

Black Clover

Bleach
by Tite Kubo

Look out Quincies, Yoriuchi is on the scene! And although she's not armed with a Bankai, she's got plenty of tricks up her sleeves in the form of reishi-based attacks. Can she succeed where Ichigo and the others have failed? Or is this fight just getting started?

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara

The attack on Border headquarters continues! So far the Neighbors have proven themselves to be quite tricky! Not surprising, considering the brazen nature of their attack. I love the way Ashihara Sensei draws action. The weapons in this manga have a unique futuristic quality that makes the battles different from other series. And the geometric design of the Trion-based attacks are for lack of a better term, "pretty neat."

World Trigger

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro

The battle has taken a turn of truly epic proportions! Godlike creature after godlike creature go at it in fights that shake the very foundations of the Gourmet World! Never before have we witnessed such ferocious creatures clashing with thunderous power that defies the very imagination! The world is being torn apart! What will happen?!

One-Punch Man
story by ONE, art by Yusuke Murata

Batter up! Metal Bat-ter, that is! He's up against the biggest, baddest (and hardest) thing he's ever fought! Will it be a swing and a miss? Or will he knock it out of the park. Hopefully knock it out of the park as I'm running a little low on baseball puns.

One Punch Man

YuYu Hakusho
by Yoshihiro Togashi

This is last YuYu Hakusho JUMP BACK chapter and it is a kick in the pants! One of the reasons people love this manga so much is the main character, Yusuke. He's not just a tough guy with a heart of gold, he's hilarious. He's quite the joker and in this chapter he pulls out all the comedic stops to help a young kid deal with the death of his beloved dog. How nice is that! I hope you enjoyed the JUMP BACK and it has inspired to you keep reading the manga. Yoshihiro Togashi is my favorite mangaka and if you keep reading you'll find out why. There really is no one quite like him.
