In a magazine full of legendary and incredible artists, it's quite an accomplishment to be considered one of the best, and Shun Saeki Sensei, in my opinion, is truly on another level when it comes to quality of art. There are a number of adjectives I can think of when contemplating Saeki Sensei's art—clean, imaginative, detail-oriented, and so on—but perhaps the best thing about Food Wars!'s art is how consistently dynamic each and every panel is. And the best way to appreciate the "dynamic" quality of the art is seeing it in full-color. In the immortal words of J.J. from Good Times, this cover is..."Dyn-o-mite!"

Food Wars
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki

Soma Yukihira's stagiaire test trial is quite the challenge this time around. Although he does have more real-world experience in terms of working at a restaurant than the average student at Totsuki, Soma's not quite well-versed in classic French cuisine and all the culinary prep in entails. But knowing Soma, he's definitely up for the challenge!

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

What a great battle! Though most everyone viewed the Bakugo-versus-Uraraka battle as being a mismatch in Bakugo's favor, only a few truly realize just how much of a challenge Uraraka poses, including Bakugo himself!

Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi

While Chitoge's busy settling back into her life in Japan and meeting her mother, who is visiting during the winter holidays, Kosaki unexpectedly finds some missing pages from a children's book that links their past from ten years ago! Could this mean that Kosaki is the promised girl from Raku's childhood?!

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

The fate of Dressrosa and everyone who is on the island rests in the hands of Monkey D. Luffy! Most everyone in Doflamingo's crew has been taken out by the Straw Hats and their allies, and now there are only two targets left—Trebol and Doflamingo. And they're the toughest ones to boot! And to make this final fight just a bit more interesting, Luffy has just an hour before Doflamingo's trap slices through everyone on the island!

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara

Though Osamu, Chika and Yuma have proven quite adept at concocting strategies for the Rank Wars from their previous battle, they still haven't proven themselves when faced with unexpected conditions and setbacks. Well, it's time for them to step up and show that they can battle with their backs against the wall, especially now that they're facing unexpected inclement weather and the sudden destruction of a bridge that's separated them from each other!

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro

The Four Kings have prevailed! And what an epic fight...er...dance it was to obtain the legendary food known as Pair! And now that they've got Pair, a friend rejoins them in the land of living and happy tears flow! SJ's had quite a number of epic "bawling" scenes, but this one between Komatsu and his Gourmet-Hunting pals has to be one of the gushiest of all time! Waaah!

Bleach
by Tite Kubo

You. Will. Not. Believe. Who. Saves. The. Soul. Reapers. This chapter is for the old-school Bleach fans who have been there since the very beginning!

Gakkyu Hotei: School Judgment
story by Nobuaki Enoki, art by Takeshi Obata

Raichi Papa. You are my favorite Gakkyu Hotei character to date. And not just because you have a cool technique named after a Greek god. I love how you remind me of a Yu-Gi-Oh! villain, both in design and spirit! As for his lawyer skills...well, they're put to the test when confronted by Inugami and his gift of gab!

033015 Issue 6

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
original concept by Kazuki Takahashi, story by Shin Yoshida, art by Naohito Miyoshi

It's the final Duel! Yuma versus Astral! Despite knowing the odds are against him, Yuma still decides to challenge Astral. And he has a very good reason to do so...

033015 Issue 7

Claymore
by Norihiro Yagi

Woo hoo! One of my favorite chapters of Claymore is in this week's issue! I love this chapter for a number of reasons, but perhaps the biggest reason is because it shows, in one sweeping moment, the humanity and the inhumanity of what it means to be a Claymore. This is probably the point in the story where I became much more involved with Clare's character. Check it out to see, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Boys Over Flowers: Season 2
by Kamio Yoko

It's the final chapter of this special JUMP START series! And, ho boy, what a doozy! Oto feels threatened by Haruto since he knows her secret, and Haruto feels threated by Oto since she knows his secret... Though this may be the last chapter we'll run in Weekly Shonen Jump, fans can still read the chapters for free on VIZmanga.com!
