Tough-looking guy who is actually an"old softie" Urian Brown takes a look at this week's issue.

Cover SmallCover
art by Yamato Yamamoto

If I were in art class and had to analyze this cover for a grade, I would probably say something like this in a very serious voice, "The theme of this cover is duality. Light and dark. Human and vampire. The red vine that is wrapped around them represents the blood that ties them together. The blood of family. Note that the vine has numerous thorns, this represents the painful and dangerous nature of their vampire/human relationship." What do you think? Would the teacher buy it?

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign
story by Takaya Kagami, art by Yamato Yamamoto, storyboards by Daisuke Furuya

Well, things have taken quite a dramatic turn since Yuichiro and Mika have reunited. For some reason I thought there would be more hugging and catching up, but nope, it's more biting and blood drinking. I guess that's the norm in a world ravaged by vampires! Will these two work out their problems, or turn on each other?

Seraph

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

Something truly amazing happens in this chapter. It's something that I've wanted to happen ever since an SJ Podcast guest predicted it would. I'm not going to spoil it, but I will say I think many fans will be super stoked when they read this chapter. I know I was!

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki

Erina's dad has come to dinner! One of my favorite things about manga is when the parents of characters show up. It doesn't happen a lot, but when it does it's often either really funny, or really traumatic. And based on Erina's harsh personality, I'm thinking this might end up in the trauma category.

Food Wars

Bleach
by Tite Kubo

The incredible battle between the giant arm Pernida and the mad scientist Mayuri continues! It seemed like Mayuri had the upper hand when his giant baby ate Pernida, but this is one arm that has proven quite resilient. And now it's giving Mayuri the finger! Several fingers in fact! Several fingers that shoot deadly arrows that can be controlled while in air! Will Mayuri be able to unarm this tough foe?!

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara

The Rank Wars continue! This match has taken several surprising turns. Osamu's out! Chika's out! Yuma's on his own, but the other teams have taken several losses as well. Can Yuma do it alone? Who will win?!

World Trigger

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

The Hero Killer has been captured but the shockwaves from his attack are still being felt all over the city. The young heroes who bravely fought him are battered and bruised, but their spirits are still strong. Clearly this attack wasn't an isolated incident, but the question remains—just what was its real purpose?

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro

A dangerous monster has appeared in Toriko! Well, I guess that happens pretty much every week, but this on is different. It has some very powerful characters concerned! It's all teeth and really ugly! And hungry! Find out what it is!

Toriko

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

Just when it seemed like the Magic Knights had the deadly attack on the city in hand, things take a surprising turn! Something that catches all of them off guard and may spell doom for the city after all. Remember the number one rule in battle—always stay on your guard!

Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi

Raku and friends have finally hatched a plan to sneak into the compound and rescue their friend Marika from a horrible fate! But it's a risky plan fraught with danger! Can Raku work his magic again and save one of his friends? Or is it too late for Marika?

Nisekoi

Blue Exorcist
by Kazue Kato

The disheveled and eccentric exorcist Lightning has had an effect on the students of True Cross Academy. But for one of them, it's been very profound. In fact, life changing you might say. Find out who has fallen hard for this oddball with an incredible knack for summoning powerful demons.

Psyren
by Toshiaki Iwashiro

One of my favorite Sci-Fi manga is getting the JUMP BACK treatment! If you never read Psyren when it came out, you missed a great manga! It's filled with intrigue, compelling characters, crazy story lines and lots of action. When Ageha Yoshina's friend mysteriously disappears, it spurs him into action. Soon he finds himself involved in a very deadly game that defies his concept of reality itself!
