11 23 Issue Review 1Cover
art by Shun Saeki

Solid teamwork is what makes Food Wars! so great, from the writer to the consultant to the editor... But personally, I think this series' strongest point is its absolutely amazing art that somehow manages to work up my appetite despite it being a drawing! For this week, I love the cover because we can see how Erina was back in the day and compare it to where she's at now. Besides, look at those mouthwatering cuts of beef sprinkled with garlic!!! Yum!

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma

The Totsuki Institute is thrown into a tizzy with the new dean's reworking of the school's curriculum. Stalin would be proud with how Azami Nakiri is running things with his totalitarian, authoritarian hand! However, no matter what challenge stares Soma in the face, he just seems to be oblivious of the consequences and tackles it head on! And this time around, he's taking part in a rigged shokugeki. Despite knowing the judges are biased, Soma's still as confident...and cheeky as ever!
