Need a helping hand from a HERO to soup up your deck?

MaskedheroWorld Superstars is the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME’s biggest trade yet! Fifty new cards previously only available in Japan and Korea are making their way to our shores for the first time ever, and there’s a little something for everyone. It’s been a good year for HERO fans so far with the HERO Strike Structure Deck and Elemental HERO Core, but it’s about to get even better thanks to the debut of a new HERO in World Superstars!

Elemental HERO Blazeman has 2 different abilities, and you can pick one of them to use each turn. The first one activates when Blazeman is Normal or Special Summoned and lets you add 1 Polymerization from your Deck to your hand. It’s just the thing for classic Elemental HERO Decks! The second ability is useful for both classic Elemental HERO Decks as well as newer Masked HERO Decks. During your Main Phase, Blazeman can send an Elemental HERO from your Deck to the Graveyard to change Blazeman’sown Attribute, ATK, and DEF to the same Attribute, ATK, and DEF as the monster sent to the Graveyard!

With that second ability, you can change Blazeman’s Attribute to any of the other main Attributes making him the perfect fusion material for any of the Attribute-based Elemental HERO Fusion Monsters or the perfect monster to use with Mask Change or Mask Change II to Summon any of the Masked HERO Fusion Monsters! It also lets you put monsters like Elemental HERO Neos in the Graveyard so you can revive them later on with Call of the Haunted or O – Oversoul.

To really maximize the potential of Elemental HERO Blazeman, try sending Elemental HERO Shadow Mist (from the HERO Strike Structure Deck) to the Graveyard. Blazeman will become DARK, and Shadow Mist’s effect to add a “HERO” monster to your hand will activate! Then you can use Mask Change to swap Blazeman for Masked HERO Dark Law (also from HERO Strike) or the new Masked HERO Anki from Premium Gold: Return of the Bling.

Now’s a great time to build a HERO Deck, but it’s only going to get better when World Superstars launches on April 17th!
