ONE PIECE, SLAM DUNK, CLAYMORE, DB, HxH... there are too many!

Submitted by mrniceguy7007@h... on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 10:45

Naruto and One piece are up there. Bleach has gone downhill for me a little but I'm interested to see where he takes the next arc.

One Piece, Bakuman and Reborn are my top 3 favorites. I hope Reborn makes its SJAlpha debut soon! It's the one series I think that should be in there that isn't.

Submitted by mrniceguy7007@h... on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 11:00

That's true, Reborn deserves a spot.

Submitted by Rjmorris on Wed, 08/29/2012 - 06:35

Reborn. Is. Awsome!!! Get into Jump!!!

Submitted by nomura3 on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 11:06

One Piece will always be my favorite. Reborn is fun, as well as Bleach and Naruto. Hunter X Hunter would be a fun addition to WSJA. And I think that Medaka Box is more than worthy of an english version!!

Submitted by cbajd5 on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 11:13

At this point my number one has got to be Hunter X Hunter. One Piece is a second, followed by Toriko. I hope SJa adds HxH soon, before another hiatus. Especially since it's got cool parallels to the real world lately.

They should at least add the the volumes digitally on here or do a reprint since some of the print volumes are way too expensive used now.

But I really do like most of the series in the Magazine, read everything every month in the print edition for a while.

Dr. Slump, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, and Gag Manga Biyori (Japan only).

As for non gag, Bakuman, Toriko and One Piece.

bobobobobobobobobobobo!

Submitted by Modab on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 14:10

Bakuman all the way. I love the art, and I love the subject. Deathnote was sweet as well, so at this point I will follow this artist/writer combo forever.

Submitted by nmanrules@gmail.com on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 14:25

One piece and Rurouni kenshin :)

Submitted by Aaronrules380 on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:10

One Piece is top, followed closely by Hunter x Hunter. Then Gintama, then its a bit harder but others I love include Toriko, Sket Dance,, Bakuman, Beelzebub, and Magico. Used to love Naruto till it started to suck and become awful. Same for Bleach, which I now see as the worst manga I've ever read

Submitted by Jgigmaster@gmail.com on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:11

One Piece for sure.

Submitted by kiba153@hotmail.com on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:18

It's a tie between Naruto & One Piece for #1, Bleach is #2

Submitted by alexwald16 on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:23

Yu-Gi-Oh! was the first Shonen Jump manga I ever liked, in 2001, even before the SJ magazine was published. It was quickly followed by Shaman King in the November 2003 issue. By far, my favorite manga has to be One Piece, for both the storyline and the series itself don't get old.

Submitted by Sirius on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:28

GinTama is at the top, and the minions would be (in no specific order) Bakuman, Claymore, Tegami Bachi, and Fullmetal Alchemist. ;)

Submitted by Aaronrules380 on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:31

you realize FMA isn't from Shonen Jump, right?

Submitted by Sirius on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:40

lol, that's true, but it is from Viz.

Submitted by vivacmpunker on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:31

One Piece is my favorite manga. Toriko, Hunter X Hunter, Beelzebub are great also.

Submitted by jp71395 on Mon, 01/30/2012 - 15:44

IMO are the best two manga in the sj mangazine and wsja. I also own every grafic novel from start to the latest for each manga.

Of all time, Eyeshield 21, Gintama, One Piece and Hoshin Engi (counting only the stuff that came out here)

I love Reborn!. It is hands-down my favorite series (though I will say I was disappointed with the ending of the last arc, seeing as Amano had to change a key point in the story due to the earthquakes in Japan last year. Unavoidable, I know, and extremely tragic for those who were lost, but I have a feeling Amano wouldn't have had to diminish her writing if they did not happen.) I'm actually rather upset that it's no longer being printed here, because I'd definitely buy it. The characters are fleshed out (minus Hibari) and the art style is really pretty.

After Reborn!, I would say Bakuman and Death Note come next. Ohba and Obata are an AMAZING tag team duo, and they always know how to keep me interested in the story.

As for the Big Three, I like One Piece (though the last arc seemed very cluttered, due to massive amounts of fishmen) and Naruto (which seems to be drawing to a close.)

And of course, I love Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Both were captivating and basically my entire childhood.

I still have yet to catch up on Blue Exorcist, Hakusho, and Claymore, but they're both really fun to read. And I have to start Kenshin, HxH, and D. Gray Man.

I absolutely love REBORN!

I just wish Viz was up to date with this series, you guys are half way behind it and that's really really sad. I know I wouldn't mind paying for my favorite series if it was for an up to date release.

my fave is PSYREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not crazy, I just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to read PSYREN!!!!!!

There are so many to choose from, but i'd probably have to choose Bakuman, Rosario+Vampire, D. Grayman ,Psyren and Tegami Bachi.

For those who don't know, Bakuman and Eyeshield21. I also really enjoyed different series like Ral-Grad and Tegami Bachi. Not too popular though.

Years ago, back when I was but a young lad fresh into Jr. High, my "sensei-to-be" discovered my affinity for anime and showed me the beginnings of Naruto. Though some of it was a little foolish for me, it was one of the best animes I'd ever watched. I was loyal to it ever since, though I admit I prefer the manga over the anime and I loathe the English dub of the series. Ever since then, a mist headband has been tied to my trusty backpack. It is still there to this day, a proud badge of my loyalty.

Deathnote is another favorite of mine, and everyone loves the classic Dragonball Z!

Submitted by Deathnote1987 on Wed, 08/29/2012 - 13:01

I grew up on Dragonballz, and hated the Gt saga. In my opinion it was the gayest DragonballZ ever next to that live movie they made. That movie was an insult to the Dragonballz legacy!!!!!! I got into Naruto, and related to Naruto right away, but the anime that I prefer is Deathnote because of the way that Light wanted to be a Hero for putting the criminals out of business permanently. I thought it was crazy how he could play everyone for so long. I wish there were more episodes, but the anime all in all was epic. I like all three, but Deathnote is my favorite.
