Lol. They put in this Nura thing over HxH and Reborn. I'm going to care about both the lack of titles I want and the two week gap regardless. Until they fix both of those, they won't be receiving a single cent from me. I love the idea, but the execution sucks at the moment.

Agreed. I want them to put HxH -.- I also heard that if your subscription runs out, you will lose everything that you received from the past year unless you renew your subscription. Is this true, because if it IS, they ALSO need to fix that too !

Also, ( I know I'm asking for too much but ) They should add a feature, where you can buy a individual chapter for like a dollar or something. In Weekly JUMP, I only read two series ( Bleach and HxH ) I don't feel like paying $26 a year to only read two mangas.

true but maybe the 2 week gap is more japans fault then viz yeah i agree the idea is great but the execution does suck the big one lol lack of titles and gap is vary bad

I'm not subscribing untill my favourite series (Reborn!) is added. its not much to ask for.

I subscribe but totally agree cause i'm pissed they stopped publishing the manga volumes apparently due to lack of popularity but how is it not popular if the anime was released on dvd in US. it makes no sense to me at all, and it's the same thing with Gin Tama.

I do wonder about their selection a bit. Bleach is entering its final arc, so that should eventually open up a spot. I would like to see more manga on here, though. HxH and KHR are definitely good picks. I understand that HxH tends to go on long breaks, but it's not supposed to go on a break again for awhile. Since it's recently started an anime remake (the subs show up within a week on Hulu or CrunchyRoll), its popularity should rise again--I think the magazine should take this opportunity to jump on the bandwagon and give HxH another kick start. I'm planning on buying the volumes when I can--I believe I have one more Blue Exorcist volume to catch up on before I get to it.

It could just be that the editors here are waiting for a good place to start them up, but I think sooner is probably better. The weekly jump magazine in Japan has around twenty different manga, but I understand publishing only the best out of them until business picks up. Anyway, KHR and HxH already have very large fanbases, so they should definitely be good hits.

Another thing to consider, which I think someone in another thread has said, is that they shut down Mangastream, which scanned HxH and Reborn. If they want to snatch up the Mangastream readers and get them to pay for the manga, then they should try their best to put out all of the titles(Weekly) that Mangastream did to appease them and try to get them to pay.

I hope you Viz guys doesn't get the wrong idea about my hostility, because I am really willing to pay. I'd just rather wait to see how good the service will become before I commit to it.

Its seems to me that Nura is the most unread series in WSJAlpha. so i think they should just replace it with like reborn or HxH or something.

I truly think we're at least going to be seeing HxH and Reborn! in the magazine soon. Due to that copyright fiasco.

I actually want shonen jump to put reborn back on the magazine because I miss reading it. I bought all the volumes when it came out and I was rather upset that they decided to put it on hold for a while now. Reborn got rather good after the last volume viz publised.

I hope Viz adds Hunter x Hunter because I hate reading my favorite manga illegally. I'm already subscribed to alpha to read Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach, now all Viz need to do is add Hunter x Hunter and I'll be perfectly happy lol.

Granted, HunterXHunter's release is so slow due to all the hiatus time its had, they're practically all caught up with the Japanese graphic novel release, so it could be justified that they're waiting for more material, given how unpredictable the series is, release-wise. With Reborn! though, I wish they would include it, as it would not only further justify their cracking down on Mangastream (if Viz isn't going to release the manga, then at least let fans get their fix somewhere....) and also increase its exposure greatly.

Regardless, they should still add HxH. I want to read vol. 28 and 29. I've been waiting for a long ass time for that. Vol 28 is coming out in Sept. and 29 doesn't even have a release date......... -___- also I want to buy the out of print volumes. ( 8, 9 and 14 ) I'd rather pay five bucks for each of those volumes instead of like 20-40 bucks on eBay..

No, 29 has a release date now, Simon and Schuster.

January 2013. Lawl. :(

And as for the volumes, check local used book stores if you live in a big city, or they'll have them at cons for amazing prices.

That's too far, January ?! O.o like I said, I'd rather just pay $5 online. I've looked everywhere. People know that those vols are rare so it's impossible to find them in a store.

Be sure to check out Neon Alley tomorrow, June 2nd, at 8:00pm Eastern Time, for the dub of Gin Tama the Movie! If we want to see more Gin Tama, then this is our chance to show them! Be sure to ask at cons and other events! The support is out there, we just need hope and to spread the word about this awesome series!
