Before it went to digital, they were giving shooting quasar dragon and sephilyon the time lord. are they still doing that for those that want to renew subscriptions or is it switched to the new four ones

I just hope we'll be able to get approx. the same amount of promo/Yu-Gi-Oh TGC cards as we did with the print editions.

Finally! A good XYZ that has good attack, sadly not as good as Acid Golem, but it'll go!
Amazing effect, I love how you have the power to delay a Card's effect for a whole turn!
(And, yes, I also got a Winged Dragon of Ra, it was in the January 2011 Renewal Issue of SJ)

If you can find back issues of JUMP, you can get the promos inside those specific issues (but be warned that not every issue has a promo card inside).

Also, Konami usually releases past promo cards in their product releases. Try searching for a card on their site.

amazon has Obelisk for so much cheaper. 18 to 20 bucks for the SJ promo and the Gold rare is a bit cheaper, i think like 10 12 bucks tops

We will not be choosing promo cards based on series only. That might factor in a promo card choice, but pretty much every promo card released in Japan is a contender for being an ALPHA promo.
