IMPORTANT: INFO REGARDING PROMO CARDS

There have been numerous comments and posts regarding the promo cards. Hopefully this answers everything:

1. When will I get SHOCK MASTER?
If you signed up to be an SJ ALPHA member before April 20, 2012, you will get SHOCK MASTER. For those that qualify, SHOCK MASTER will be sent out sometime around May to June.

2. When is the next promo card coming out?
The next card, SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON, was announced on April 21, 2012. If you sign up for ALPHA after April 20, 2012, this will be your first promo card. Dates on when you should expect the card will be announced as soon as the details are worked out, but for a general timeframe, expect to receive SLIFER about a couple months after SHOCK MASTER goes out. UPDATE: The final date to sign-up for SJ Alpha and receive SLIFER is July 11, 2012.

3. How often are promo cards released?
4 times throughout the year.

4. I'm already an SJ ALPHA member. Will I receive promo cards?
Yes! Make sure your VIZmanga.com account has your mailing address (find out how to do so HERE). You will get whatever cards are released during the duration of your membership, so if you have a year-long membership, expect to receive at least four cards (some lucky ones might get more!).

5. Will it be delivered to my home?
Yes! Please be sure to input your mailing address in your VIZmanga.com profile.

6. I transferred over my subscription from print to digital. Will I get cards?
Yes. You will get whatever cards are released during the duration of your transferred membership. HOWEVER, please be sure that your VIZmanga.com account profile has your latest mailing address.

Since slifer the sky dragon is a gift when you sing up do Shonen jump alpha subscribers that already have singed up already do they also get this card

Yes. During the duration of your ALPHA membership, you'll get whatever cards are released.

Then you should be fine. First promo card (SHOCK MASTER) goes out in May-June. If you signed up by April 20, you will get this card.

If I purchased an SJ Alpha subscription after April 20th will I stiil be able to get Number 16: Shock Master Promo?

Only if you buy it some where else. Signing up after April 20 puts your first promo as the tourney legal Slifer.

I posted a question smiler to that earlier today as I just joined today. I can't seem to find that post I made again anywhere to see if I got a response. I am now wondering if it was eaten by a "Man eater bug" or if I'm still to much of a noob to find it again. There are a lot of comments here lol

Back while this was in print, I would buy 2 extra copies of the magazine just to get 3 copies of the same card for my deck. I always saw having good yugioh cards in the magazine as a good trick to triple there sales. Also, sometimes I would to buy extra magazines off the shelf for friends as well if I thought they would like them. I could see me wanting to do cards or even yearly subscriptions as gifts during the holidays if there are options available. When both Obelisk and Ra came out I bought 6 copies of the same magazine both times just for the cards. 3 for myself and 1 for 3 different friends I know would like them. They came out around or a few mounts before Christmas season after all so they made excellent gifts.

I had a subscription to Shonen Jump before Slifer Came out , and Number 88 Gimmick Puppet Of Leo is coming , and i still don't have it . Is there a way i can get it somehow , or do you not have them anymore.

You can do this in one of two ways:

1. Create a new VIZmanga.com account and subscribe to SJ ALPHA.
2. Wait until your current membership expires and then resubscribe to SJ ALPHA.

Did you only sign up for this site? To get the cards, you have to be an annual member. To become an annual member, just go to http://vizmanga.com/sj-weekly.

How do you know which one you signed up for? I got 2 different e-mails and one said congrats on becoming a member and the other said I could upgrade membership but I thought I had already signed up for an annual membership. How do I make sure which one I signed up for?

how may cards do we get for this year and the next couple of years i mean i transfered my data on march would that mean i still get the cards if i transfered the data on that day or whats the story and whould i still get shock master?

There will be four cards that come out every year.

Although we got a bit of a late start with the promos, you'll still get four for this year, just in a more condensed schedule. SHOCK MASTER goes out May-June, and the second promo, SLIFER, should go out shortly thereafter.

go to VIZ MANGA.com and click login enter your email and password and if your signed up you should get a message that says Hi, your username. next to that there is a thing that says My manga click that and you can read SHONEN JUMP ALPHA

I was out of town during this week and got back sat. night. When I went on my home computer to check my email and found the news flash that i needed to actually put my address information on my profile. I had thought that information for those who transferred their subscription would have been kept and transferred as well. Will I miss getting my shock master promo card?

i probably wont be getting ANY MORE CARDS because u people suck i didnt even get the one for april and april is already over you :) maybe you should send your cards out 2 all shonen jump alpha members in all places you people suck im never gonna buy anything from you again for this. there is only 2 things i like about shonen jusmp, that is the magazine and the yugioh cards but what the point of shonen jump when you dont even get what you are supposed to you owe me but I probably wont get anything or even an apology because you suck you cant even send me the cards im supposed to get im never getting shonen jump alpha again no subscriptions or even manga booo internet rock on paper. I love the paper version of shonen jump because you actually get the yugioh CARDS and instead with the internet you get $!@&%. you people are :) that say "we will give you this and that" but does that ever happen NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the offer for Slifer the Sky Dragon ends on June 22, does that mean the card will be shipped to me on that day, or could it come in at a different time? Sooner? Later?

Ship dates for SLIFER are not confirmed. We'll let everyone know once it is confirmed. As of now, SHOCK MASTER will be shipped sometime around May-June.

Only CURRENT members who had their print subscription transferred over, or members who paid for the annual membership get the cards.

Once I buy my membership, and then update my shipping address, how do you guys ship the promo cards to our homes? Does UPS or Fedex send them over? And what happens if the address that we put in isn't valid at the time the card is due to be shipped? Is it still possible to get the card?
