All that can be said is that it kicks ass and I'm really glad that WJA picked it up from the beginning. A bold and beautiful move. I wanna see this happen more often.

Out of curiosity, since we're only two chapters behind Barrage, does this mean that we'll have relatively close dates for the volume release or perhaps on the same day?

Its a really bold move to sterilize it in Alpha from the begging, but so far I like it.mi love the art, and specially the superb shonen felling it have. Astro it's going to be a great character.
I love the bold line-art style! This looks really promising, and I'm extremely excited to see that you guys are willing to take risks of bringing series here even when they just start. I think this is a good step forward, and I'm already loving barrage.

I'm pretty dissapointed by its simplicity. The characters and villians aren't memorable, and the plot and artwork seem too simple to other mangas. It does, however, show promise. Hopefully it gets better! I'm glad Viz is taking a risk for once by licensing it.

It's a very cool series with interesting characters and very nice art. Also, the story has the potential to be really awesome. I'm glad Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha started it from the beginning, too.
Having read this mangaka's previous series--Oumagadoki Doubutsuen--I was thrilled to see Barrage licensed. It's a big change for him, but I think he pulled it off well enough. I look forward to buying the series.

I'm loving Barrage so far. I'm glad SJA took up this manga to start from the beginning. I can't wait to get into it some more!

I don't think barrage can really be called a science fiction manga because there is no connection with real science.
