do i have to wait 2-3 months to get slifer

Submitted by AnimeBros777 on Sun, 06/24/2012 - 11:35

I wanted Gustaph but I think a Number card would defiantly inflict more damage. N40 all the way!

Submitted by starlordtitus on Sun, 06/24/2012 - 15:00

Number 40 is too dependant on other cards where as Gustaph does 5000 by itself (attack included). Gustaph FTW!

Submitted by vegeboy352 on Sun, 06/24/2012 - 17:01

His effect is less powerful than Flame Wingman's but its very good I think.

Submitted by AnimeBros777 on Mon, 06/25/2012 - 12:53

Okay, Gustaph Max has way to hard of summoning requirements. 2 or 3 level 10's I think it is. Did you know most lvl10's have some RIDICULOUS summoning requirements. For example Match winner cards (Victory Dragon, Stardust Divinity, etc.) , Wicked Gods, Egyptian gods, Sacred Beasts, and more... N40 would be easier to summon and it's effect is just as good as Gustaph.

Submitted by starlordtitus on Thu, 06/28/2012 - 02:21

Obviously you're not too familiar with Hieratics if you feel Gustaph is too hard to summon. It's real easy. Youtube the combo if you need to see it. Vote Gustaph all the way!

Submitted by AnimeBros777 on Thu, 06/28/2012 - 18:34

If your referring to the Hieratic's high levels. Uhmm, no, those levels don't if scratch the surface of lvl 10. Only lvl 8 and then the best ones are ranks. Ranks aren't the same as levels if you didn't know. Any way N40's ability is 500 points per monster, while Gustaph is 2000 per turn. What if there are 6 cards on the field

6x500 = 3000 points of damage to your opponent. That's a lot more then Gustaph's 2000. Then guess what- If N40 destroys all the cards on your opponent's side of the field you can attack him/her directly. That's pretty awesome. In addition if you have heard of the card Number 88: Gimmick Puppet- Destiny Leo. N40 will be a great part of a Gimmick Puppet deck on top of N88 and N15 (if recieved)

Submitted by dcdfvr on Thu, 06/28/2012 - 22:19

you seem to be forgetting red eyes darkness metal dragon who's a level 10

also a problem with N40 is that he destroys at the end of your opponent's turn which means
1. they we get rid of the monsters with strings on them
2. they will push for game with that extra turn as you choose not to destroy their monsters and tried to do effect damage instead

Submitted by AnimeBros777 on Fri, 06/29/2012 - 09:19

True; however, you can't rely on Red Eyes all the time. You don't really expect to draw Darkness dragon all the time. Really think about what would happen if Gustaph was destroyed. Thats 2 lvl 10's and a rank 10 down the drain. Mean while there are lvl 8's easier to summon. For example the kaibaman and blue eyes trick + red eyes b chick and red eyes b dragon trick (If you use Red eyes you need one more lvl).

Submitted by dcdfvr on Fri, 06/29/2012 - 20:21

hmm i don't think you've played against or used a heiratic deck before have you. you don't need to draw him. or to be more percise you don't want to draw him as heiratic dragon king atum summons it straight from the deck. for heiratics summoning atum and red-eyes is like (i quote someone else) us breathing air. all you need is any 3 combinations of heiratics monsters (from su, tefnuit, nebet, and est with at least 1 of the 3 monsters being summonabl) in your hand and you can summon 2 atum and 2 red eyes darkness in one turn.

here's a helpful link to show you how it's easily done

Submitted by AnimeBros777 on Fri, 06/29/2012 - 20:56

That still doesn't change the fact that N40 can deliver more damage. As said before, Gustaph deals 2000 damage to your opponent every turn; however, N40 could probably deal up to (there are 11 slots on each player's side of the field- 5 monster zones- 5 S&T zones-1 field card zone) 5500 damage. Then, also said before, if you're playing 8000's you can attack your opponent directly (saying they don't activate a monster effect or a hand S&T card). Which is 3000 ATK points, so it's a really good card.

Submitted by starlordtitus on Sun, 07/01/2012 - 07:35

Let me put things into to perspective, Gustaph can do 5000 damage in one turn on it's own. By the time Gustaph comes out, there will more than likely be two Gaia Thunder Chargers, one Wattail Dragon, and finally Gustaph. As it stands, that's 10,700 all together, then you activate Gustaph's effect which equals out to 12,700 damage in one turn. And this can be performed as early as the second turn of the entire duel. Now you tell me which card is better, because honestly Gustaph doesn't depend on there being monsters on the field, he just blows the opponent up and like a Transformer, rolls out to meet his next opponent. Vote for Gustaph.

Submitted by AnimeBros777 on Sun, 07/01/2012 - 14:04

N40 still. So you're saying every time you summon Gustaph you're going to get 2 thunder chargers, wattail, and Gustaph. Yeah right. However, it would be pretty neat. Plus do you seriously need to deal 127 hundred damage. Eh no. If you use N40 alone it's 8500 AT MAX. Which is just over 8000 meaning if your opponent has a little extra life points it's a one hit.

Submitted by starlordtitus on Mon, 07/02/2012 - 00:57

That's exactly what I'm saying. The combo is THAT consistent. And that is frankly the main way Gustaph comes to the field 95% percent of the time. Those monsters will be next to him every single time the combo goes off. Period. And frankly since the combo pulls off 12,700 damage on it's own automatically, I'd say Gustaph is the choice to go with. You should really look at the combo on youtube because then truly you'll see instead of continuing the conversation.

Submitted by AnimeBros777 on Mon, 07/02/2012 - 09:28

Fine I'll play it your way. But Gustaph would probably only be collection purposes.

Submitted by starlordtitus on Mon, 07/02/2012 - 14:39

Gustaph at the beginning will be used A LOT in Hieratic Decks because that's where it is used mostly, especially in Japan. Enjoy which ever card is chosen though.

number 40s effect only destroys monsters not spells and traps

Submitted by aclarke on Mon, 07/09/2012 - 14:32

Number 40 will be limited most likely since it was already exposed how broken and easy it is for an OTK if released. Careful what you wish for.

number 40 just looks epic, max seems cool but i wants me number cards

Someone let me know which card is next!

Submitted by shresthajason on Thu, 07/12/2012 - 06:37

At first I voted for "Number: 40 Gimmick Puppet Heaven's String", but now I don't think it's the best choice for me. As an Xyz user, I've mastered to Xyz Summon 2-3 Xyz monsters per turn. I'm more of a Rank 4 user than anything else. "Dragorado" is a DARK Level 4 Dragon-Type Effect monster with 1300 ATK and 1900 DEF. "Snowdust Dragon" is a WATER Level 8 Dragon-Type Effect monster with 2800 ATK and 1800 DEF. "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Killer" is a DARK Rank 8 Machine-Type Xyz Effect monster with 1500 ATK and 2500 DEF. "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet Heaven's String" is a DARK Rank 8 Machine-Type Xyz Effect monster with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. "Superdreadnought Train Gustav Max" is an EARTH Rank 10 Xyz Effect monster with 3000 ATK and DEF. I have not found the effects of the other cards. I just wish WSJA would throw in a couple of Rank 4 Xyz monsters with at least 3000 ATK.

Well i kinda wunna vote for gustaph but then chaos dragonz would OTK even easier but i wunt the best 1 which is prolly number 40 so i dunno. But i think alpha shud do something kinda like japanese V-jump did with sending out horahkty to a certain amount of subscribers.

Submitted by Gralnick on Thu, 07/12/2012 - 13:29

Also guys NO. 40 would make hieratics even more broken than with gustaph max

Submitted by shadowlynk on Thu, 07/12/2012 - 14:28

these numbers are ok, but Gustav Max is gonna be the most useful to me in my current main deck, so obviously it's got my vote, besides, it's gonna be the most sought after card out there for dragons if released...

Submitted by Dcowsert on Sat, 07/14/2012 - 12:06

are we waiting for when the big cheeses say when we get to know what card won?

Submitted by Samyueru on Sat, 07/14/2012 - 12:19

vote for something we can All use or at least apply. not everyone plays hieratics. we all get the same card, so we need something we can all at the very least side-deck.

Submitted by Samyueru on Sat, 07/14/2012 - 21:45

Well, it's a wrap. it's gustaph. no use complaining about it. all in all i guess it's a good card. i'll use it sometimes.

Submitted by trashthethrasher on Sat, 07/14/2012 - 22:43

when will it come out? does anyone know when the slifer will come out, and if the gustaph will come out before 2013? i heard that it's coming out in fall but i'm not entirely sure.

Submitted by Dcowsert on Sat, 07/21/2012 - 14:07

I have to admit, though my efforts for Alpaca were futile, it was still fun.

Submitted by reaperofh on Sun, 07/22/2012 - 15:39

I was hoping for a card from the first series to be revised, but eh... but I ain't too pick, so whatever wins

Submitted by HolyPaladin on Sun, 07/22/2012 - 17:13

You don't realize this but the seal of orichalcos is being released soon

Submitted by Dcowsert on Mon, 07/23/2012 - 13:07

I'm not getting my hopes up on this seal until I have an idea on what it does.

Submitted by HolyPaladin on Mon, 07/23/2012 - 13:13

Your monsters gain 500
This field spell cannot be destroyed
Your oppoent must select the strongest monster you control as an attack target
That's what it does and 1 secret ability with a specific duel disk
Whoever loses the duel loses their soul, must be in chaos dueldisk to use this ability

Submitted by Dcowsert on Mon, 07/23/2012 - 23:14

Sounds pretty intense. That could definitely come in handy.

Submitted by Liamo on Wed, 07/25/2012 - 21:29

i like to see Magi Magi Magician Gal

Submitted by John Bae on Tue, 07/31/2012 - 15:28

Chances are we won't have a poll to decide the fourth, but it's definitely an option after that. As for Magi Magi, I believe Konami has the rights to that card now.

so the only tournament practical use was going to be with red eyes darkness metal dragon in chaos dragons or hieratic. as of the new banned list, darkness metal dragon is limited to one, which was the only real level 10 monster used in competitive play. with one to a deck it looks like this vote was for nothing. any hope we had of using this card in a real game is gone. killed before we even had the chance to enjoy it. considering the new yu-gi-oh banned list update. i feel we should have a re-vote to the third card. for many of use who were upsetted by this entire slifer ordeal, many wont be considering resubscribing to this website for cards. If they want to win us back, the best way is with good cards. i think a re-vote for is valid for something that can actually be used. I think many people who voted would have a different card in mind knowing that the only hope for most of them to get it out is now gone
