It's an epic deck and a nice homage to yugi. To help, go to the yugioh wiki and look at the egyptian gods page. they have posted a deck made by v-jump that's dedicated to summoning the god cards. it could help.

I like these comments so far. I didn't expect a lot of people to give such a positive reaction. If you have any ideas to make my Yugi deck better, please share it. Also, please share with me any weaknesses the deck might have or what decks could put this Yugi deck at a disadvantage.
You're forgetting Black luster soldier. Either in ritual form or chaos form, he's a force to be taken seriously. beware, though. unless you're rich, buying either will be a blow to your wallet on amazon. also, can anyone name a splashable hieratic dragon for my deck?

Okay. So you guys have your own idea of classics to put in a Yugi deck; which is cool, I liked that. I am fascinated to read your own ideas on such a deck. However, in addition to possible card add-ons, could you advise me of any possible "weaknesses" that the deck could have? Or, better yet, warn me of certain decks that could threaten this Yugi deck? I need to know what cards or decks I should watch out for before entering this Yugi deck in a competition. Would a Dino-Rabbit deck pose a threat? What about a Dark World deck; do you think this Yugi deck can take on that? What if was to go against a Blackwing deck? Samari? Xyz monsters? etc.

The only weakness i see is the magna warriors. unlike kaiba's xyz monsters , they're mostly useless by themselves and won't last long enough to get valkyrion, who is also a dead draw. also, try to get cards normal yugi used like the gadgets, marshmallon, and stronghold.
As for how you face the current metagame, it takes thought. you can't specifically counter 1 deck because you're vulnerable to another. analyze their strategies and construct your deck to be rounded to counter things like direct attacks, creature removal, and/or your opponents special summoning.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYY COWWW!!! Konami has just announced the content of the upcoming Yugioh Legendary Collection 3: Yugi's World! It is going have a whole bunch of classic cards used by Yugi as well Bakura, Marik, Rafael, and others. But best of all, it is going to have a tournament legal Seal of Orichalcos card! I don't care if you consider it a Yugi card or not, I AM GETTING THAT CARD AND PUTTING IT IN MY DECK!! However I still want to know if the Seal of Orichalcos could give my Yugi deck an edge in a tournament.

what is currently on the wikia hasnt been updated yet to show the orichalcos thats coming in october, wikia currently has the upperdeck promo version that was exclusive to 15 upperdeck executives, yugioh-card.com clearly stated that the one they are releasing is tournament legal. in fact i have the exact quote from yugioh-card.com:
"Each box of Legendary Collection 3: Yugi’s World comes with a Seal of Orichalcos of your very own, with all three of these powers – and it’s 100% tournament legal!"

I think you are confused with the original Seal of Orichalcos cards that Upper Deck employees used during some kind of strange event they had years ago when Upper Deck was still working with Konami. That page on Yugioh Wikia is due for an update. If you look at the Konami website, check the product page, and then see Legendary Collection 3 as an upcoming product, you will see in bold that it is going to be released as a 100% TOURNAMENT LEGAL CARD. They say that it will have the following effects:
1.) Increase the ATK of all monsters you control by 500.
2.) This field spell card will be immune to the effects of spell, trap, and monster effects.
3.) Allow your stronger monsters to protect your weaker monsters (whatever that means).
That is why I really want to add this card to my deck (hey, Yugi did play it after all). I still want to know if this card will give me an edge if enter the tournament with the Yugi deck I have.

that third effect is referring to letting u use your s/t zones as extra monster zones so u can have weak monsters in the back row (s/t zones) and strong monsters in the front row (monster zones). at least i think

Well ill just be adding a monster reborn in place of that 3rd smoke signal, and your deck is pretty sweet to just add some bushido farm cards to maximize gateway also check out my awesome combe for 15,700 damage that will help out your deck.

Speaking of tournaments, what tournament are you planning to enter. I am hoping to get a chance to enter the championship series in Providence Rhode Island and the tournaments they will have at next year's Anime Boston convention. As you can see, I live in New England.

I'm not sure what ones are, since I mainly use cards pre-yugioh GX-era (most of them seem to have become banned), but I have thirteen different decks. If you'd like to duel for the sake of dueling and you're ever in the area, I'll be your opponent. haha

Also, if you are referring to cards from the original Yugioh, then you are not alone, for I am like that as well. I live in New Hampshire, around Lake Winnipusaukee (I think that's how you spell that), and I specialize in Yugi's legendary deck. Although I am planning to add the Seal of Orichalcos to the deck, if I can get my hands on Yugioh Legendary Collection 3: Yugi's World.
