What were your thoughts on the chapter? Personally I cant wait for them to get to the New World. It may be 3 more chapters though but im pumped! Also I hope the straw hats dont fight Smoker and gang right out the gate. Im just looking for a new island to be explored :D

Yep, things like look they can go anywhere at this point. It's a shame Luffy delayed Jinbei from joining his crew by angering Big Mom like that.

Before Luffy contacted Big Mom he asked Jinbe to join him, but Jinbe refused to join the crew now. Jinbe said he had some "business" to do, once he takes care of his "business" then he will join the strawhats. I'm still not sure if his "business" is wanting to leave Big Mom or something else.

Its not really a delay. If anything it'll speed it up by pressing Jinbei to break from Big Mom quicker so he doesn't fight Luffy. Though he still won't join till the Big Mom arc

I really do hope Jimbei joins the crew! They really need a tough-guy fish-man to fight the underwater baddies.

Pekoms is already my favorite character during f.i. Arc, Oda creates the most interesting characters.

I hope the Big Mom arc will not be like the war arc. With One Piece's war arc and Naruto's war arc, I'm not sure I can take anymore of these ~_~

I don't think this arc is going to be a war arc or anything like that, Oda enjoys going in directions no one thinks he'll go.

I agree with this. I'm willing to bet he's going to take a slice of history and use it as a background for the next arc. It makes for epic storytelling.

Agreed! His character designs are mind-boggling too...

And I really do hope to see someone cosplay as Bepo sometime in the near future at a Con. I'd give him a high-five and direct him to the nearest local zoo if he's looking for a girl bear to keep him company!
