Welcome to the WSJA Forums!

Welcome to the Weekly SHONEN JUMP Alpha forums! As you may have noticed the forums are a little bare bones right now. But we have every intention of eventually making them robust! We'd like to include avatars, signatures and other bells and whistles, but for now this is it. We’ll keep you updated on our progress in the Announcements section. Also, make sure you read the rules before you start posting. I promise you they’ll be the most exciting rules you read all day! Have fun!

It does look bare. I hope there are more non-manga titans around to liven up the place. I did read the rules and started up a post in the Bleach forum! Looking forward to everything you guys have for us.

Just commenting here, even though it is probably not the most appropriate place. It would be good if all the viz sites integrated themselves more. I've gotten lost a number of times jumping from site to site, following a manga I'm interested. For instance, I wanted to find out more about Bakuman, what volumes were out in print, what chapter would be in the digital offering, what digital previews were available, what was being printed in Shonen Jump, any extra features that were available on the site, news about the anime, etc. I also wanted to find a place to talk about the series with people online. What I got was a huge mish mash of links that led to front pages all the time, multiple user logins, and a general organization that felt like people posted a web page and then abandoned it. I hope that this forum grows into a good community, but shouldn't there be a simple whole viz experience, and not a bunch of disjointed islands?

I hope eventually these will have more people on at one time so it can have easier chat that doesn't take as long to get a reply. And if you guys do add avatars, will they be like characters from the many SJ series, or will they be customizable things so each one is unique?

Are you guys ever going to let us read what you guys left out. see from the last issue of SJ and the first issue of SJ Alpha some of the manga were missing 40-200 chapters. so how were we supposed to be happy about the change if we dont know what is going on and what the heck we missed ?

then select where you want it to appear. (like Bleach Manga, for example) type up title in the "subject bar", and then type a brief description of the forum. That help?
