UPDATE: The deadline date to become a member and qualify to receive SUPERDREADNOUGHT RAIL CANNON GUSTAV MAX is now September 30, 2012. Keep in mind this is the deadline date to get a membership. Shipping dates are still to be determined.
We've received a crazy amount of questions and comments about the promo cards, so we thought it best to gather all the information out there into one clean, neat feature.
PLEASE READ the following information, and if you still have a question, then go ahead and ask in the comments section below!
1. I still haven't received my Shock Master yet! Where are you hiding it?!
I checked all over my house to no avail. I then checked under my desk at work, but still no luck! It's probably because we're the editorial office and don't handle card shipping from here.
Shock Master was sent out recently (around the beginning of June 2012), so they are still arriving via mail to our members. If you still have not received your copy by the end of June 2012, and if you definitely qualify to receive this card, write to us at sjalpha@viz.com.
2. Holy smokes! I got TWO Shock Masters! But...does that mean I only get two more cards for my membership?
No. Absolute not. No way, Jose. A shipping mistake occurred while sending out Shock Master. Members are only supposed to receive one copy of each promo card. Yearly members will still receive three more cards after Shock Master, even though two copies were mistakenly sent out. For future card promos, expect to receive only one copy of each card.
3. If I sign up for SJ Alpha now, will I receive Shock Master?
No! The first card you'll receive is Slifer the Sky Dragon (edit: This holds true as of June 2012).
4. Hey you! Where in tarnation is my Slifer the Sky Dragon?
The answer is quite simple. It's still not out! The first promo card, Shock Master, was just recently sent out to subscribers. Expect Slifer about 2-3 months later.
5. I bought a single issue. Do I still get cards?
No! Only SJ Alpha members who have either paid for a full year or had their print subscription transferred over qualify to receive cards.
6. I'm not sure if I'm a member...
Then we can't be sure if you'll receive cards or not! Members are people who have either paid for a full year's access to SJ Alpha or had their print subscription transferred over. If you're neither, then chances are you won't get cards!

No Shock Master Yet!!
I'm trying to find out why I haven't recieved my shock master card yet. It's almost the end of June and I've contacted sjalpha@viz.com. The only thing they've done is give me a link to stuff i already know, they didn't provide any real help.

I still have all my old print mags on my bookshelf! I have issues 5 to 110! But, dont expect Shonen Jump to be print anymore though and that is real real sad to me and everyone I am sure.
Shipping time
I signed up as a member on the 24th of May. I'm pretty sure i qualify for Slifer and was just wondering what the shipping time on that would be like. the feature says two to three months, so can i expect it around the end of July? I'm quite excited to complete my three god set.

Please be patient. We are mailing out a shipment of SHOCK MASTERs soon for those who mistakenly did not receive it the first time around. A couple quick questions though:
1. Did you make sure to input your mailing address in your VIZmanga.com account profile?
2. When you wrote in to sjalpha@viz.com, did you make sure to explicitly state your vizmanga.com account username as well as the issue you are having?
If the answer to both questions is YES, expect to receive it sometime end of this month/beginning of next month.

Just relax for a bit, people got more shockmasters than they should so there might be some people who are unable to get shockmaster because they have no more left to give out, might be awhile for them to make more so wait a month or 2 and send them an email saying that u demand them to send you a shock master because other people got them and relax if they don't reply back, other people are sending email's about the same thing meaning it might take a while for a response, if you don't get one by the end of your online supscription, then Sue them for false offers and use this website as a reference, with the other cards, just wait

There is absolutely no way a promotion like the one we're offering will go without any hitches or problems. We do our best to make sure everything goes smoothly, but we really do need the cooperation and consideration of our members to make it work. For one thing, members need to make sure that they have their mailing address inputted in their VIZmanga.com account profile. Without this, there's no way we can get the cards to members.
The next thing, if you are experiencing problems, just be sure to write to sjalpha@viz.com with a clear account on what your issue is and also be sure to let them know what your VIZmanga.com account username is.
We're doing our best to accomodate everyone. Hopefully when the next batch of SHOCK MASTERs go out to those who mistakenly missed them the first time around, everyone will be satisfied. I can already guess that this won't be the case, but the more cooperation and feedback we get, the easier this process can be.

Do you fell happy now that you will be getting your shock master and hopefuolly there will be no. problems for any other promo releases and you shouldn't let some people make you upset just because they say things to other people doesn't mean it was meant for you, people who say stuff like that are wimps because they don't care on who they hurt. I'm 16 and I try to keep a peaceful mind in these situations because if they get to you, that means that they won and you feel bad about yourself

Even though I didn't qualify for the shock master release and since there making another batch of shock masters, is it ok for me to get 1 if possible and when will slifer the sky dragon be released so I can get 2 of them and give one of them to my friend

SLIFER in the Mail
I just opened my old mail, and I got 2 Shock Masters. I've been looking for Slifer thinking that it is in my old mail pile, but it isn't. I wanted to know if I had received it already, or if I had not.

You haven't received it because it hasn't shipped yet. It'll go out end of the month. Hopefully you get it around that time (I'm guessing it'll now be around very early August).
Again, I am guesstimating. I'm not privy to what is happening in the production and shipping of cards. All I know is that we have a shipping cut-off date coming soon (I believe members will receive a newsblast about this) and that I was informed they should be shipping out by end of the month.
