Why "Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max"? It only has 3000 ATK and DEF. "Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer" (coming on August 28, 2012 in the release of Return of the Duelist) is a huge Rank 10 Xyz monster like "Gustav Max" but better. It has 5000 ATK and 2000 DEF and a great ability. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from it to destroy all of your opponent's Spells and Traps! But "Gustav Max" just gives 2000 damage to your opponent. It would be best used in my Burn Deck. Just one problem. My Burn Deck has no Level 10 monsters! I am very dissapointed in the poll results.

There is one way I can think of getting out "Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max" on the very first turn. First, play any three Continuous Spell cards. Next, send them to the Graveyard for "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder". Then, Summon "Phantom Skyblaster" and use its effect to Summon two "Skyblaster Tokens". Next, Tribute them for "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms". Finally, Xyz Summon "Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max".

I see you point but in other decks he can still be a devastating surprise. A total of 4000 damage in two turns is halve your opponents life points and that's nothing to sneeze at. I didn't vote by the way so it's not exactly my first choice either. I just can't wait to get slifer and hopefully The Creator God of Light, Horakhty. It's an instant exodia if you sac the three gods. Not an easy task, but I just want it to have it. It's to bad we couldn't get that card you mentioned though, it sounds like a beast.

I'm thinking "Horakhty" should be a Rank 10 Xyz monster that requires "Obelisk the Tormentor", "Slifer the Sky Dragon" and "The Winged Dragon of Ra". It should kind of be like "Armityle the Chaos Phantom".

You do know Horakhty has already been released as a card in Japan right? Though it's a very rare card with only 10,000 made so I don't know how they'll do release it in the TCG.

thinkin about it though, it is a sweet card. I just wanted new numbers. Well hopefully we get horakhty as the card to end the year off. Would really be epic to get Slifer, The Seal of Orichalcos, and Horakhty.

I'm so happy this card came out! This card doesn't only benefit Hieratic, it also benefits Inzektor decks. With the addition of Inzektor Ladybug, bringing out Gustaph Max is possible.

Yes you will receive this card as your first promo. There is currently no exact date for when Gustav Max will be shipped out but it will most likely be within the next few months. Definitely not July though.

Despite wanting a Number as the Promo instead of a Rank 10 Xyz Monster that only works in one deck (as an OTK engine nonetheless), I had a feeling we'd be getting this as a promo, and I'm happy with it, everyone commenting here gets one for free, feel free to trade them away if you don't want it.

What I am disappointed in, however, is change to the artwork. Really guys? Painting the cannon green and filling it with... fire(?) is supposed to disguise how it is a giant railgun cannon? Who made that business call?

The easiest way to summon Gustav is to use two Metal Reflect Slimes. I don't think many people realize you can use Trap Monsters to Xyz summon.

Just to get it out of the way, I voted for Mighty Warrior. Mostly because of how practical and effective he is but there wasn't much conviction in my choice so I don't mind that Gustoph Max won. But, can someone help me figure out how this card is an OTK,,, He himself can do up to 5000 in one turn and I get that but what I don't get is how do you make him fast?

a hieratic deck can get out 2 Gaia dragon, the thunder chargers, 1 Wattaildragon, and 2 red-eyes darkness metals. The method of summoning them puts them at 0 atk and def. without this card the deck does 7700 dmg, with this card the deck can do up to 12700.

I agree with you on that. If given my way, the next promo would be Horakty. But, maybe we will be lucky enough to get that next time.

I just looked up the effect of "the creator god of light, horakhty" and nearly soiled myself in delight. So far, Slifer's the first jump card I'll get, and I'm aiming for the other two soon after. If I recieved the creator god as one of my jump cards, I might literally poop out rainbow sherbet and send some to share with everyone here.

If what I'm reading in your post is correct, then you missed getting them as SJ Promos if you wanted them the same rarity as Slifer. They were promos back when Shonen Jump was still in print. As of late, though, both Obelisk and Ra have been reprinted (Obelisk as a gold rare in Gold Series 4, rare and starfoil rare in Battle Pack: Epic Dawn; Ra as one of 2 super rare cards in the Order of Chaos: Special Edition boxes). I hope this will make things better for you. Just one last thing: I don't want any of that rainbow sherbet.

Yeah, I figured I'd get the starfoil obelisk and the super rare Ra at some point later. I just want to have all of the usable Gods, regardless of rarity. Honestly, the only card I care about getting in its genuine form is the Invasion of Chaos Dark Magician of Chaos. I've been after that thing for a few years. I'll get it eventually. haha

First of all, When will I get Slifer? I still haven't gotten it yet. Also, Although I have a thing for xyz monsters, couldn't this have waited? (I was really hoping for Horky God of Light to be the next card. Also, there are many monsters with effects to change their level. Be seriously, Give me the god of light!

Wait a minute.....they're releasing a playable version of The Seal of Orichalcos? And yet they can't make the three Legendary Dragons, Timaeus, Hermos or Critias, the cards formed from their fusing with other monsters, or their knight forms because THEY are too powerful and weren't in the manga? Funny! Seems like they are just too lazy to take the time to do it and are just making lame excuses to me!

Hmm....I honestly don't know who to be more upset with...Shonen Jump for not getting Slifer to us on the twenty-third, (Small thing, not REALLY upset. It actually takes A LOT to upset me.) or Konami and Upper Deck for making lame excuses for not releasing the cards that people see and REALLY want!
