IMPORTANT: INFO REGARDING PROMO CARDS

There have been numerous comments and posts regarding the promo cards. Hopefully this answers everything:

1. When will I get SHOCK MASTER?
If you signed up to be an SJ ALPHA member before April 20, 2012, you will get SHOCK MASTER. For those that qualify, SHOCK MASTER will be sent out sometime around May to June.

2. When is the next promo card coming out?
The next card, SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON, was announced on April 21, 2012. If you sign up for ALPHA after April 20, 2012, this will be your first promo card. Dates on when you should expect the card will be announced as soon as the details are worked out, but for a general timeframe, expect to receive SLIFER about a couple months after SHOCK MASTER goes out. UPDATE: The final date to sign-up for SJ Alpha and receive SLIFER is July 11, 2012.

3. How often are promo cards released?
4 times throughout the year.

4. I'm already an SJ ALPHA member. Will I receive promo cards?
Yes! Make sure your VIZmanga.com account has your mailing address (find out how to do so HERE). You will get whatever cards are released during the duration of your membership, so if you have a year-long membership, expect to receive at least four cards (some lucky ones might get more!).

5. Will it be delivered to my home?
Yes! Please be sure to input your mailing address in your VIZmanga.com profile.

6. I transferred over my subscription from print to digital. Will I get cards?
Yes. You will get whatever cards are released during the duration of your transferred membership. HOWEVER, please be sure that your VIZmanga.com account profile has your latest mailing address.

i feel like this website is ignoring my pleas regarding the 2 cards (mostly shock master) that was meant to be sent to me. i did what was requested and sent an email on the matter (6 times over the last 3 months) and i have not since received a response. how long does it take for these guys to respond to an email, i dont want to miss out on getting my shock master.

ive sent 4 emails spaced out over the month of july regard the fact that all my mailing address info is correct and i had switched to alpha on march 6 of this year and i didnt recieve shock master in the mail around the time it was suppose to have been sent out. im trying to be patient with customer service but with no response in nearly a month im about ready to give up just see what happens with the rest of the promos.

You will not get Gustav Max. To be eligible to receive a promo, your subscription has to last until the ship date of said promo I believe. Gustav Max ships out several months from now so unless you resubscribe, you will not get it.

when you sign up for the jump magazine you only get what 4 or more cards are coming out in your subscription time, which is that entire year. You do not however get the choice of all previous JUMP promo cards :(

Shooting Quasar Dragon was a subscription promo for subscribing to the print version nearly a year ago. You've missed your opportunity by nearly a year. If you subscribe now, you will get Gustav Max and 3 other promos yet to be decided.

When I signed up for Alpha the card it said I would receive would be Slifer, this was July 14th. By your cut off date it says July 11th, does this mean I will not receive Slifer after all?

It says my membership started July 14th. But when I was signing up it said sign up now and get Slifer the Sky Dragon, my gf just signed up yesterday and it says sign up now and get Gustav. Now my thing is, I know the cut off date says July 11th. But due to the fact it said I "will" receive Slifer for signing up when I did I want to make sure I will in fact be getting Slifer like my promotion subscriber account said.....

First, make sure you have your mailing address inputted in your vizmanga.com account.

Second, write in ASAP to sjalpha@viz.com. Let us know your username and state specfically what your problem is.

Well i found a way into my profile but for some reason it just shows my gender and my birthday. I put all my info including my shipping address earlie last month. I would like to know why it isn't showing the rest of my profile?

We're just about to ship SLIFER out, so don't expect GUSTAV MAX until 2-3 months down the road. Once we have a more clear shipping date, we'll be sure to let everyone know.

Sounds good. I can't wait to complete my God Card collection.

The re-shipping of Shock Master should be going on around the same time, right? I believe I have fixed the problem that prevented me from getting Shock Master the first time around.

i was one of the people got up in the physical to digital subcription conversion problem and they just straightened it out so i now have the year subscription so im wondering will i still get slifer the sky dragon in spite of this problem or will i get skipped because of the problem?

If you were supposed to have a membership before July 11, I'd contact customer service at sjalpha@viz.com. Let them help you out.
