EVENTS: SJ ALPHA at GEN CON 2012!

 

The SJ Alpha tour keeps on truckin’and it’s headed to Indianapolis for this year’s Gen Con festivities! On August 17–18, SJ Alpha will be at the Konami booth (#701) offering promo cards on the spot to anyone who signs up for a yearly membership!

CON SPECIAL @ GEN CON 2012

SJ Alpha will be taking yearly subscriptions for Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha at Gen Con. Those who sign up get to choose either a Number 16: Shock Master or Slifer the Sky Dragon card to take home right away! So head on over to the Konami booth (#701) to take advantage of this special offering!

People that goes to this event that sign up for a year get to choose 1 of the 2 cards yet i subbed a few days after "deadline" for slifer and am gonna get shafted out of the card. i call BS!

It is YOUR own fault for not signing up on time so how is anyone "shafting" you?It is YOUR fault for signing up after the deadline. If you don't understand how business works in regards to having people choose their cards in person then dont bother to post. No one is to blame besides YOU.

Starting with ANIME EXPO, we've been offering a promo card on the spot to those attendees that decide to become an annual SJ ALPHA member. It's an enticement for our readers to sign up and a type of promotion that isn't uncommon for companies to do at trade show events or conventions.

I actually was one of those who signed up at a convention (San Diego Comic Con to be precise), however I have not had any success accessing my subscription. e-mails to customer service hasn't been helpful, so hopefully this message will be seen and I won't have to resort to getting a charge back from my credit card company.

Can you tell me what your VIZmanga.com account name is? Our tech guys can take a quick peek to see if you're in the system.

Also, did you ever receive an activation email the night you signed up? What might have happened was the email address was inputted incorrectly because of the iPads.

Did you activate your account? Because from what I can tell, you have a vizmanga account because of the sign-up, but there's not information in there besides a username (no mailing address, etc).

If you have followed those email instructions, then I'll push this along to our tech guys.

Activate the viz account or the subscription? cause I got a viz account e-mail and activated the account, but no follow up mail afterwards. is there a way non-public way we can discuss this, I can provide what e-mails I have if it will help with the troubleshooting.

I still haven't received my slifer in the mail and im getting a little nervous, that i wont be receiving it. And yes i am am alpha member. I really hope i get it tomorrow.

they should be coming in sometime this week and next week, the had to remake the shock masters and deliver slifer the sky dragon , wait 2-3 weeks
