IMPORTANT: INFO REGARDING PROMO CARDS

There have been numerous comments and posts regarding the promo cards. Hopefully this answers everything:

1. When will I get SHOCK MASTER?
If you signed up to be an SJ ALPHA member before April 20, 2012, you will get SHOCK MASTER. For those that qualify, SHOCK MASTER will be sent out sometime around May to June.

2. When is the next promo card coming out?
The next card, SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON, was announced on April 21, 2012. If you sign up for ALPHA after April 20, 2012, this will be your first promo card. Dates on when you should expect the card will be announced as soon as the details are worked out, but for a general timeframe, expect to receive SLIFER about a couple months after SHOCK MASTER goes out. UPDATE: The final date to sign-up for SJ Alpha and receive SLIFER is July 11, 2012.

3. How often are promo cards released?
4 times throughout the year.

4. I'm already an SJ ALPHA member. Will I receive promo cards?
Yes! Make sure your VIZmanga.com account has your mailing address (find out how to do so HERE). You will get whatever cards are released during the duration of your membership, so if you have a year-long membership, expect to receive at least four cards (some lucky ones might get more!).

5. Will it be delivered to my home?
Yes! Please be sure to input your mailing address in your VIZmanga.com profile.

6. I transferred over my subscription from print to digital. Will I get cards?
Yes. You will get whatever cards are released during the duration of your transferred membership. HOWEVER, please be sure that your VIZmanga.com account profile has your latest mailing address.

No. Unless you can meet me in Gen Con in the Konami booth and sign up for a membership there, you'll just have to wait until Konami releases it.

I signed up for an annual membership since february i think. today is august 17th and i dont have any cards yet, no shock master, no slifer, no nothing !! Whats going on with you guys?? My shipping adress is right...i dont know what do i have to do to get the cards !!

yeah i signed up for a member ship and i already have shockmaster but you guys said you were sending slifer out by the fourteenth and it's the seventeenth and i havn't got him yet and i know my shipping information is correct

I have already recieved my Shockmaster card, and have a problem with the Slifer card. It is now August 17th and no Slifer has been recieved. Even though I am starting to see SDCC Shonen Jump Slifer cards, if you have the cards why not send them out to your customers 1st or at the same time?

By the way my address is updated, and the package is a very small letter that says Shonen Jump on it.

Unfortunately, if you signed up on August 17th, you will not receive a Slifer promo card. The deadline to make an SJ Alpha subscription and still get that card was July 11th, as posted in an earlier SJ Alpha update. However, you are eligible for 4 Yu-Gi-Oh! cards distributed throughout the next year, including the upcoming Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max. My apologies for the confusion. (And make sure to confirm your mailing address on your main account page, so your cards can be mailed to your home!)

Given the popularity of the card, cardmaker Konami will most likely print a lower-level-rarity version of Slifer to release as part of a booster pack. Keep an eye out, and you may have another chance to have Slifer in your hands! Happy dueling!

*note: I'm not an editor or manga-maker, just a fellow subscriber. And no, I don't have Slifer yet . :(

I'm sorry for you HolyPaladin, you have been more then helpful and your right. We all should stop complaining and just wait and be patient. I know whre your coming from wth school starting next week. You have the right mindset to be thinking about school. I wish you luck with school and all your tournaments that are up coming.

Guys HolyPaladin is right. We've waited so long for this card but, it's not going to hurt if we have to wait longer. Just relax and i'm sure within 2-3 weeks we will have our cards.

I have a question... I am a member here and am using my friend's address as my mailing address. He's an SJAlpha subscriber too. The reason I am using his adress instead of my own is because mine is... well... tentative. Hopefully, we will both still be able to receive Slifer... is this possible?

i have not received my shock master yet and it is august 27 2012 starting to get really disappointed i guess sj doesn't want me to renew or recommend there magazine if i don't get my card and I'm shire I'm not the only one who hasn't and they will lose my bisnuss and of many others
