rituals looked absolete after the syncos, not the XYZ. they are not dead tho, as the gishki are ritual based, fast and pretty new. They are vaguely popular. CURSE YOU DINO RABBITS, SIX SAMURAI, AND DRAGON LOCK DOWN! YOU SUCK!

Ya Darkness Neo Sphere has 4000 Atk and can't be destroyed by battle, XYZ can only trump him if they banish him, or get pumped up with equip cards or effects. I can't think of to many XYZ with 4000 atk or over.
Except that Obelisk it uneffect by magics and trap that target him and his summon is not negatable. Also out of all the gods so far he can be special summoned even if its only for one turn.
When obelisk ids normal summon no magic, effect, trap can even be activated. He's crazy. If special summoned or normal summoned you can also sacrafice 2 monsters to clear your opponents field. all it takes is foolish burial and a monster reborn or call of the haunted with a stray lambs card to wipe the opponents feild clean. he is a boss. period!

Ya and people work that into there dragon locks, they send multiple Red Eyes Darkness Metal dragons and other stuff from deck to grave and then they are instantly summoned to the feild, and if they are destroyed they are....
Summon back to the feild and that doesn't even begin to explain all the XYZ Dragons and Syncro Dragons the strategy abuses. It is a heiness abuse of a loop hole in the rules and is bull!

the game needs to continue to expand. coming back from the old is kinda hard. if you continue to stick with it, it will make since, and all the decks that are good right now will be dust later. which is confusing. also, they are making a dust deck LOLZ LMAO

Something That CAN Beat Obelisk Though, Is Evil Hero Dark Gaia I Think It Was (I Think I Lost The Card ;-;) Anyways, Use Darkness Neosphere In A Combo With Giant Soldier Of Stone (Thats My Combo Cuz I Don't Have Any Stronger Rock Monsters)
1. That Combo Basically Gives U A 5k+ Atk Evil Hero Dark Gaia, And 2. I Just Went Through A Box Of Random Junk In My Room And Found Out That I Still Have My 3rd Blue Eyes Which Happens To Be Limited Edition Holographic And Now I Have A 4th Blue Eyes Wandering Around Somewhere, Evil Hero Infernal Gainer, Fusion Gate, And A Bunch Of Other Cards, lol
ha I'm 22. Ya so there ya go. Red Eyes Wyvern and Red Eyes Darkness Metal are the biggest part of the Dragon Lock, not Totem, totem is negligable at best.

thats pretty old to play yugioh, though my dad is older. BTW, he joined us(me and my bro) in yugioh to spend time with us, not to play a kids game as a 35 year old, which some people do.EWW. I say once you are 40, you should really stop playing a kids game alone, or with other grown pup. Its just wrong.

I think that it's no different than being in a sport. There is no real age to doing anything in life. Question would you dis a 40yr old playing yugioh if you found out it was one of your favorite actors or role models? The answer to that is no you would not. Reason: cause you would be so star struck that it would not occur to you to judge. I think that anyone that makes fun of anyone who still enjoys what they like to do is a closeminded person.

Nah I go to a card shop where I teach young kids how to play the game, etc.
I also trade with people my age there. People use future fusion with 5 headed dragon and abuse the effects of dragons to let them summon them selves and each other all in one turn and then sync and overlay as well as summon those dragons you've sacked with Red Eyes Darkness Metal effect. In one or 2 turns you can have 4 or 5 dragons on the field with over 3000 ATK and deadly effects. That is the true terror of Dragon Lock Decks.

hey i like yugioh, its good, but i also play magic. its not a kids game, older people play it than yugioh(in my opinion) and I think its as fun as yugioh if not funner. yugioh is cool, dont get me wrong.

I'm 18, and I am going to college in about two weeks, yet I, too, am a fanatic of Yugioh. I played against duelists as old as 21 at Anime Boston a few months back and I intend to do that again next year. The idea of coming across a Yugioh fan of your age makes me very excited, as it insures me that I still have some years left to play this game. And you're right about how difficult this game is for kids. It is bigger and more complex than it used to be. I was only eight years old, when I started playing, but that was when the original Yugioh anime was just coming out, Xyz and synchro didn't exist yet, and the strongest monster you typically see is Blue-Eyes White Dragon. These days, you really have to be anywhere from a pre-teen to young adult to understand what is going on. The only downside is that my parents despise this game. They have said right at my face that Yugioh is a waste of time and money and that anybody that is my age or your age that is still playing this game is a total loser. Isn't that outragous?! It is Insulting! How dare my parents through offensive comments about people like us as if they are stereotype towards Yugioh fans! It's not fair! It is a completely innocent game that teaches math, logic, reading, and planning. What's to complain about here? Anyhow, I was hoping that we can duel against each other on the duel forum, and I hope we both Slifer the Sky Dragon in good condition as soon as possible.

Wind ups are about to feel the hurt of the sept banlist . Losing two zenmaity hurts the hunter loop and leaves us wondering what can i do to fix my awsome wind up toys look to the sorcerer and the shark grab rabbit with sorcerer turn shark to lv 3 banish sorcerer with rabbit then xyz for leviair return sorcerer and hes ready to activate again. Any ideas for wind ups post sept 1st let me know
they'll be fine come sept 1. you can still swarm the field by summoning rat with magician then using the rank 4 photon butterfly lady to switch rat to atk mode and use rat's effect to continue swarming. top your field off with gigabrilliant and those mini toys become medium to large beaters
