Cover
art by Naoshi Komi
Ladies and gentlemen, you are witnessing history: this is the first cover ever in the American SJ print and digital history to feature only girls! And just in time for Women's History Month too! Not that we planned it—it just sort of happened that way. But it's still an amazing cover! Wonderful art and beautiful colors.
Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi
Happy New Years! Yes, we realize Nisekoi is operating on a different time schedule, but we assure you, we're still simultaneous with Japan. In any case, in this chapter, all of Raku's female suitors show up at his house wearing kimonos! And let's just say, things quickly escalate from there. These are some serious hijinks.
One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda
The Straw Hats make landfall on Dressrosa! And holy moly, this is one of Oda's strangest places yet—an island of fragrant flowers, delicious gourmet cooking, ladies who perform passionate dances, and living toys. Yeah, living toys. Haha! I haven't been this excited to read a new story arc in a while. What an amazing setting!

Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
The flashback to the First Hokage and Madara's childhood continues. We already know when they grow up they have a massive battle that has repercussions for generations, but I have to say seeing them as childhood friends and rivals is nice. Kishimoto Sensei knows how to pull the heartstrings!
Dragon Ball
by Akira Toriyama
One thing that never ages is Toriyama Sensei's combat art. He knows how to draw a fight. And trust me, if you've ever tried to draw a battle scene, you know it is not easy! Even though I've read this story numerous times, seeing it in color really does make it seem new. Personally, I hope they do the whole thing and we publish it.
Cross Manage
by Kaito
This may well be the wackiest chapter of Cross Manage yet. It's certainly one of the funniest! This manga has been cracking me up lately. And it looks like there may be a new love rival for Toyoguchi! Maybe that'll light a fire under her buns and she'll figure out her feelings for Sakurai. We'll see!

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara
Osamu continues to be amazed by Yuma's incredible strength. And some of the secrets behind his incredible power (and Osamu's lack of) are revealed!
One-Punch Man
story by One, art by Yusuke Murata
This is my favorite chapter of One-Punch Man yet! Super funny! In fact, this whole issue has been funnier than usual. Maybe all the mangaka are in a good mood because spring is coming. Saitama and his new sidekick the cyborg square off against evil genetically altered man-beasts—including a fearsome mole-man named Ground Dragon!

Bleach
by Tite Kubo
Wow! Bleach flashback with several high-ranking Soul Reapers when they were young! Including Ichigo's dad! Also a funny chapter. I always thought Kubo Sensei's comedic manga skills are some of the best in the business.
Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
The fight between the beautiful Sunny and super-gross Tommyrod gets serious as Sunny reveals a never-before-seen super move! Will his hair-raising attack make Tommyrod bug out? Probably some more puns in there somewhere...

Nisekoi was good although
Nisekoi was good although very overexaggerated the effects of alcohol candy...
One Piece, really dig the disguises..
Naruto hasn't really been good in like 150 chapters, I just want it to end.
Dragon Ball is getting good now.
Cross Manage can't read, please allow us to buy past issues.
World Trigger was the best series this week, Four-eyes is just a trainee.. Imagine my compete and utter shock...
One Punch Man definitely has the best art in JUMP, always impressed by it even though it's a gag comic.
Bleach not caught up yet.
Toriko not caught up yet.
Reveiw is a Joke
Love how this guy feels the need to recap what has already been read, makes me glad I don't have to read the chapters anymore just read the review and all set.
You're missing the point of
Hey!
What the?! Who the?! How the?!
Listen to me Mr. Copenhagerman, only parts of that review are a joke. And not even a very good one. Especially those puns in Toriko, not proud of those.
In any case, I try not to spoil anything major in the reviews so you can still enjoy the manga. You should probably read the issue first anyway, and then the review.
But thanks for your input, I appreciate it!
Oh, and thanks Primal and Bae for defending my honor!
: )
Thanks for the response
This will be my last post ever on the site as after I will deactivate my account. I finally got a response from someone at the new Shonen Jump and it was over a comment on a review. Just really wish that I could still get a printed copy of it rather than a digital copy. So for the record thanks for finally responding to one of my post and besides it was only to get a response, I will just have to wait on the chapters to be brought out in the tankobon. Well thanks again and remember everything should always be taken in stride.
Umm... sorry that this will

It's not a recap, its an article about the writer's opinion on the stories of the week's issue of WSJ. It is interesting to be able to compare your own opinion to those of others and this article provides the reader's a venue in which to do so. Some can say they agree, some say they can't.
You're missing out as the article only covers the tip of the iceberg for each story. :(
Back when I use to read volumes from the store, I had my own opinions on the mangas I would read. Years later, when I finally got on a forum, I was shocked at how others viewed said mangas or how they saw certain events or situations that occurred in it.
Primal, that was a great and
Primal, that was a great and very diplomatic answer. You certainly nailed it!
And to add on, this article is also encouraging discussion on the manga in the digital issue. It's always fun to talk about manga with other fans!

I agree, you guys should bring back the forums, though they were a bit dead before...
John and Urian, you're
John and Urian, you're welcome, thank you, and I also must apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused because of my post. As a subscriber, I appreciate the articles written for the website, and I just wanted to explain it to a fellow poster who I thought could use the information and to any other posters that may be misinformed.
I apologize to coperhager if I took his post too seriously but the message was also for any other posters out there who may be browsing and might have the impression that a manga can be experienced by simply reading about it in an article, summary, or wiki. Reading a manga is an experience unlike any other and I feel that people are missing out on a great story-telling medium.
No worries Primal! Just keep
Thank you, John.
Thank you, John.
I'll try to actively bring in readers who are unaware that Shonen Jump is legally offered online{I've actually been doing so passively for the past year by providing a link to the website in a forum sig.}
I was browsing various websites on the subject of Jmanga's demise, and a lot of posts mention the fact that they did not know that legal online sources existed for manga and some have voiced that they wish to support the authors by paying for a legal service. One even mentioned that they never heard of legal alternatives for online manga viewing and that they had even done a google search when searching for it.
I know advertising can be expensive, and hopefully word of mouth over time will bring in more and more people. I think a good solution would be to attach this website to keywords on google search such as "legal scanlations" and "online manga reader", at least that is my guess at what the average person will type in seeking out the legal means to read manga.
