REVIEW: This Week's Issue!

Cover
art by Naohito Miyoshi
When I saw this cover, I was so excited, I leapt out of my chair and started doing jumping jacks. Well, I actually just yelled out, "Wow! What a cover!" And then I went and gave the designer 100 dollars! Well actually, just a pat on back and a firm handshake. In any case, this is a brilliant cover. Many of you know of my intense love of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, and we don't get many covers for that manga. Especially one with Kaito, instead of Yuma!

Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
Man, Naruto has been so good for so long, it's amazing. Kishimoto Sensei just keeps knocking them out of the park each week. And this chapter ups the ante a bit, with the return of some key characters. Also, there's some hilarious banter between Orochimaru, Karin and Suigetsu.

One-Punch Man
story by ONE, art by Yusuke Murata
Spring Mustachio and Golden Ball confront one of the strange monsters that has been terrorizing City Z. Although they're high-ranking Class A heroes, they quickly find out that this monster's anything but average! What's the secret of City Z? And is this finally a monster that can stand up to Saitama's might?!

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara
Osamu and Yuma visit Border's Tamakoma Branch Office, and are suprised to find out not all branches of Border are on the same page. In fact, the Tamakoma Branch, is quite different! And the Chief of the branch has a direct connection to Yuma's dad!

Bleach
by Tite Kubo
I expect this chapter of Bleach to have some ramifications on people's cosplay choices for Anime Expo!

Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi
Tsugumi's getting romance advice from the strangest person—a foreign assassin named Paula McCoy! Sure an assassin would know about stopping a man's heart, but winning it?

Cross Manage
by Kaito
Misora's injury is more serious than she let on! But she's determined to get back on the field at all costs. The only problem? Convincing manager Sakurai who lost a promising soccer career to a simular injury!

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
It's the ultimate battle of the minds! Except in this fight, what you imagine can have real-life consequences. Can Toriko keep up with Starjun's mental gymnastics and come out alive?

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
Original Concept by Kazuki Takahashi
Story by Shin Yoshida
Art by Naohito Miyoshi
Production Support: STUDIO DICE
Yuma's former enemies, Kaito and Shark, are in trouble! They've unwittingly stumbled into a trap set by the evil Shadow that causes them excruciation real-life pain when they take damage! But Yuma's not going to let that happen! He'll stop at nothing to help a friend, even if the friend happens to be an old enemy!

Dragon Ball
by Akira Toriyama
The battle with the Saiyans has begun! But before Vegeta jumps into the fray, he wants to have a little fun with his prey! Fun in the form of little green men that spit acid out of their heads!

Those reviewers have read illegal scanlations that were released before the magazine comes out in Japan. Long story short, scan groups acquire raws ahead of the official release, which is generally Mondays. They get raws like, the Tuesday before. So as an example, if we get Naruto chapter 600 on Monday, they would (through their means) have gotten it already and released it and released Naruto chapter 601 on Tuesday. Barring some technicalities, what we read is technically simultaneous with Japan. "Technically" because sometimes there are holidays and they get Jump on Sunday or something, but for the most part anyway.
