Is my mind playing tricks on me, or does this cover have not one, but three Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal characters on it?! I feel liked I've died and gone to Heartland! One of my more caustic coworkers, Alexis Kirsch a.k.a. Professor Jump, accused me of "loving every SJ cover." At first I was mad, then I was like, "Hey, I do seem to love every SJ cover, and why not? They're beautiful." I mean, how often do you get to see big full-color pieces of great character art like this? And this cover is especially nice, because it not only has three characters on it, but a futuristic city background! Great colors, too! Usually SJ covers are bright and fiery, but this one has a cool almost refreshing color palette. In other words, I love it. I LOVE IT.

Here's a case you wont see on Judge Judy! Kyoji puts Mr. Heartland on trial for the murder of Dr. Faker and other crimes! Not only do we get to see an amazing duel, we get to find out a little more about Dr. Faker and Mr. Heartland. Who would have ever guessed Dr. Faker wasn't really a bad guy? And Mr. Heartland was? I think one of the reasons I love this manga so much is the surprising complexity of the story.

It looks like Akira Toriyama's lighthearted manga is winding down. Next week is the last week, so enjoy it while you can! In this chapter, Jaco and Omori launch a daring space rescue to save Tights from certain doom! I've enjoyed the heck out of this manga, and learned a lot about Toriyama Sensei and his process. Still curious to see how it ties into the Dragon Ball universe. I guess we'll find out next week!

Beautiful chapter of Naruto. The Allied Shinobi's backs are against wall, and they're starting to give up. But as you might have guessed, there's one gutsy ninja who has something to say about that—Sasuke! There's also a flashback in this chapter that really hits you in the old ticker. It's amazing how much emotion one chapter of manga can stir up!

The fight between Midora and Ichiryu goes to the next level! I feel like I've written that sentence about five times, but it just keeps getting crazier! Also, we get a bit of a backstory into Midora's childhood. He had quite the childhood.

I think the Deep-Sea King has lasted longer than any enemy we've seen in this manga! But that will change, because Mumen Rider's on the scene! Actually, although Mumen Rider's the butt of many jokes in this manga, you might see him in a different light after this chapter.
