Cover

Shonen Jump is back! Hope y'all had a great holiday break and are ready to dive into some manga! This is a special cover celebrating how well the anime and manga of each series is doing. In fact, the card Luffy's holding says, "Anime and manga are doing great!" And each piece of art has the hiragana from the first part of the series name—"Na" for Naruto, "O" for One Piece, "Ni" for Nisekoi, and "To" for Toriko (note: the cards are Karuta cards, a traditional Japanese card game played on New Year's).

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda
The attack on Dressrosa continues! Usopp gets quite a surprise when he finds out just how tough the Tontatta are in battle! And we get a look into the origins of Rebecca's incredible fighting abilities. Plus, the shocking
conclusion of the battle royale in the Corrida Coliseum!

Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto

Madara's attempt to rein in all the biju comes to an abrupt halt when Gaara jumps in to save One Tail! In doing so, he finds out a little about a former jinchuriki and his special relationship with One Tail. It's really touching!

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro

This issue's seems to be full of heartwarming stuff, including this uplifting chapter of Toriko! Ever since losing Komatsu, Toriko's spirits have gone down the garbage disposal. But after a pep talk from Knocking Master Jiro, he's starting to recover. And when a crowd of thankful people began telling him how the food he's discovered has changed their lives, the old Toriko begins to awaken!

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign
story by Takaya Kagami, art by Yamoto Yamamoto, storyboards by Daisuke Furuya
Yuichiro's squad gets a new member—a hot-headed girl who's prone to fly off the handle and start fights! Sound familiar? Their mission: head to Harajuku and take down a vampire enclave that's been kidnapping humans. Can a squad with two upstarts possibly survive their first encounter?

Nisekoi
Special Bonus Full-Color Chapter

by Naoshi Komi
Raku and the gang head to the hot springs for some well-deserved relaxation and antics. Lots of antics. But the tables are turned in this well-worn manga trope, as the girls have to sneak into the boys' side to get their clothes back! I have to say, this chapter of Nisekoi literally made me laugh out loud. Well played, Komi Sensei!

One-Punch Man
story by ONE, art by Yusuke Murata

The alien assault has wiped out most of the city! Saitama's on the scene and ready to do battle, but this is the most powerful force he's ever faced! What will become of the Hero Association!

Bleach
by Tite Kubo
Mask de Masculine's still alive! Not only that, he's become more powerful than ever! And he's about to unleash his biggest attack on Renji! This match seems to have no end in sight!

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara

A new Trion soldier has appeared on the battlefield! Smaller, but much stronger, it's unlike anything Border agents have ever faced! Not only that, it seems intent on capturing agents, not just killing them! Just what is this new menace, and how can they stop it?

Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi
Onodera's in a pickle! It's the Tanabata celebration, and she's put a very personal wish on the special bamboo tree. A wish she doesn't want Raku to read. And she'll do anything to keep him from seeing it!

Blue Exorcist
by Kazue Kato
Izumo's tragic past is revealed which sheds light on the reason she doesn't trust anyone. With the situation so grim, she plans to make the ultimate sacrifice for her little sister. Can Rin and friends save her before it's too late?

Dragon Ball
by Akira Toriyama

The battle against Vegeta has been a doozy! So many times it seems like it was over, only to have him rise again. But this time it looks like they've finally got him...or do they?

Extras: Nisekoi: Special Bonus Full-Color Chapter, Alexis and Eric's Magical Jump Tour, Author Comments.

I keep finding myself completely captured by Trigger each week! I'm just loving how each chapter is another twist yet it doesn't get boring! How much longer til the comics/volumes are released in North America? I'll probably just buy them in Japanese if they take any longer and learn japanese so I can support the authors

Every one of these manga has its own uniqueness. However, in my own opinion, the other ones don't even come close to Toriko, One-Punch Man, and One Piece (Personal Opinion).
