So i was very excited that I could catch up with bleach here, but why does it skip from volume 38 to 49...? How can I keep following bleach manga if I left off on volume 38..?

We're working on a fix for that...
For now this should catch you up to where the story is now and explain how it all fits together.
Hope it helps!

catch up coverage really doesnt matter
even if we know exactly whats going on its not anything like actually knowing every detail as you read a whole story and most of the books skipped like 20 chapters i think we could all agree we woulda rather just keep going from where we were at in the story instead of not getting to finish the stories we had started reading and skip a bunch of chapters for no reason. Especially Naruto and Bleach being in key points of the story i dont care how many tiny and lousy catch up nonsense things you have it is not the same as getting to finish the part of the story we were at. I havent even wanted to read the new weekly manga even a little because i want to read all the skipped chapters without ruining it for myself. Also this site is very disorganized and poorly set up the first few times i had to practically hunt down the pages to read anything. Wish u guys didnt skip so much chapters and I dont think anybody likes the site or the strange skip of chapters. It is cool beeing able to buy online cheaper copies of graphic novels(but of course the links to read and buy novels online isnt working tonight not surprising at how bad site seems to be set up), but overall am very disapointed with all of these nonsense changes and was a big supporter of monthly print edition and it just seems like a useless weekly manga so far. The last print edition made it seem like you could read all the chapters online at shonen jump alpha to catch up to where the weekly edition would start so I was really excited to have a lot of reading to do but seeing as how u didn't do that I am completely disapointed dont understand what you guys were thinking hopefully u guys change something because otherwise Im not gonna want to even subscribe to the manga but just buy digital novels.
well im not just going to
well im not just going to read a summary and be left out in all the good stuff, specially the aizen fight.. come on!
how bout this way
Catch up on the series through the graphic novel speed-up. Or if you're an ALPHA member, check out their catch-up coverage. It's much better to legally support the creators.
EDIT: Please do not direct people to illegal sites that put out content without permission from the legal rights holders and the creators. Thanks!

Bleach final arc
Dude someone on a forum I frequent is saying that the new bleach arc is gonna last 10 years. That can't be right. Anyone else hearing this rumor is that guy just being delusional??
Kubo said he's half done in
Kubo said he's half done in one of the latest Jump Festa interviews - so there's 10 more years to go.
Except this is going to be
Except this is going to be the last arc. An arc usually lasts, in Bleach, around 2-3 years.
