I was just curious if there were any plans to put out a Nook or Kindle SJA Apps so we could read manga on an e-reader if you have one and not have to go in through the web
Either make an app that allows download as a time-limited Nook Comic (like a library book), or else fix the ereader so it can be used on a smaller screen.
Better to make a time download, because the point of having a Nook instead of a Kindle Fire is the SD card and ability to store media when away from a WiFi connection.
But if all that can be done is to fix the ereader, it wouldn't be that complicated to fix:
* Panning works like now, except instead of the "rubber band" effect, the oage just stalls at the edge ~ just as PerfectViewer pans (don't sniff, it can be used to read public domain golden age comics too).
* Split the screen into three vertical slices. The left and right thirds are the paging, like now.
* The middle third is the zoom. When the full page is on screen, its zoom in. The top of the zoomed display is the top of the page, and wherever you tap is put at the bottom of the screen, with the image zoomed to match. The top right corner is kept on screen as you zoom.
* When zoomed in, the middle third is zoom out, zoomed so the top of the display is steady and bottom of the display would be wherever you tap, with the zoom out capped at full page height. Let the rubber band readjust it if the bottom of the page would be above the bottom of the display.
You also need to fix the controls so they can be used on a touchscreen, but the guts of making the online reader useful is making zoom a one touch process, and making the zoom in start at the part of the screen where you start reading a manga page.

Thirded? So disappointing I can buy Viz manga for my nook tablet, but I can't just as easily download this to read. My time to read online is limited. If it stays this way, I won't renew when my sub is up. Reading offline is a necessity - commute is when I have the most time.
