This Week's WJSA!

Great issue! Funnier than most. I laughed out loud more than I usually do. Good stuff! Here's what I thought about each series!

Toriko
Toriko travels to one of the funniest places yet—Champagne Island and Cocktail Isle! A place where everything is alcohol and delicious salty snacks grow on trees! I want to live there!

One Piece
The adventure continues on Punk Hazard! The crew is captured and meets a real samurai! Well, parts of a samurai. Even for One Piece, this chapter is pretty wacky! It’s also funny, I literally “LOL’d” at my desk while reading!

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan
It looks like things are heating up, and the pieces are being put in place for a major event! I love where the story is going and look forward to finding out more about the bad guys and the upcoming “purification.”

Naruto
SASUKE’S BACK!!!! And not just as a cameo. He and Team Hawk are fully back in the story! Which makes me happy, because I’ve always loved the Team Hawk characters. Super wacky and kinda psycho—my kind of people!

Bleach
Wowwowowow! There’s an epic spread in here that’ll tickle your inner-fan for sure! I won’t spoil it by describing it, but it's amazing. Also, Ichigo has a rad one-liner at the end!

Bakuman
The controversy of Miho Azumi starring in Moritaka’s anime Reversi reveals the cruelty of haters on the Internet. But when Fukuda finds out the real story behind their relationship, he decides to fight back!

Twas a good issue! Especially TORIKO and ONE PIECE! That "centuar" panel with Luffy had me rolling on the floor.

I enjoyed Toriko the most, and i hope Reborn! and Hunter x Hunter get added soon.

One Piece was pretty good, like I said before, I always love these moments between the crew on adventures. Also I enjoyed Narutot his week. Good to see Team Hawk in the spotlight of the war.

I love the between major story arc stuff in One Piece, it's some of Oda's funniest work.

I love how the current arc in Bakuman is practically a large "take that" towards the politics behind idol talent agencies and the influence and overall attitude of 2ch.

I don't think that should stop you...to be honest, I feel that with Reborn!, it's only a matter of time. Keep in mind that Alpha has only really been out for like 3 months; give Viz some time to test the waters, and I'm sure the more series will get added soon or next year. After all, they released the Reborn! anime subbed for free on vizanime.com and prevented mangastream from posting the chapters; I think that this can only indicate that they're preparing to give it a second try themselves, or at least have not given up on it completely. Give Alpha and shot and wait; if they don't, then don't renew, but until then, support them in their inital stages and more series will undoubtably follow.
