Alternate anime movies
I seen movies with similar plots but with some stuff altered. One Piece the movie Episode of Alabasta and Clannad the motion picture. The One Piece movie was basically a speed up version of the Alabasta Saga, with tons of changes, for example they took out Ace and Smoker, and Luffy fought Crocodile twice rather than three. Besides that, I enjoyed it. The Clannad movie was the same as One Piece, kept the characters and the storyline, BUT with a different ending. The only differences between the movie and the anime was the character designs and focus of the story. In the anime, the story focused with different characters but kept the main characters(Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Furukawa) involved the secondary characters. But in the movie, It was only Tomoya and Nagisa. Even though the movie and anime were different, I thought it was good, I prefer the anime though, regardless of the endings.
Recommended Anime Movies
Yeah. Liked Clannad's movie how they summarized everything only changed the ending. It's ending is much more realistic than the anime version, but I preferred the anime version because of the twist in the ending where the girl in the alternate world was someone he was gonna meet. Another is the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, where Kyon falls into an alternate universe and Haruhi goes to a different school without making the SOS club. A happy ending with a surprise from Yuki. (and that's just the anime movies) <also watched Bleach fade to black. Love how this time it was more centered around Rukia and relates to her hidden past to the public (and the surprised faces of the soul-reapers when Ichigo knew them so well>

Death Note Relight 1: Vision of a God
After finishing the last episode on Halloween (perfect timing), I decided to try check on the Relight movies on the following day. The first movie, Death Note Relight 1: Visions of God, had a good introduction. Basically the movie starts with Ryuk telling the a story to an unknown shinigami about his experience in the human world. This movie is actually a summary movie, with some stuff adjusted to make things quick and easy to catch on, same way as One Piece or Clannad the movie I mentioned before. They changed the way Light meets L, and added a scene cut at the end of the movie. If you watch the ending of the movie, you can probably guess who is the mysterious shinigami. This movie is good for those who wants to quickly get know Death Note, and part 2 continues off and conclude everything. I enjoyed this movie, it was really great, but watching this movie felt like watching half of the series again.
Death Note Relight 2: L's Successors
After watching Relight 1, I decided to finish part 2 of the relight movie. The movie begins with L talking to the audience about what has happened in so far in the series and explaining the main characters. Same story, Near is trying to catch Kira and finish what L couldn't finish, and Light is deceiving everyone and he is trying to kill Near. Same thing as Relight 1, some scenes were modified and left unexplained (where is Light's father, how did Mello get a scar, or what about Mikami's past?), but unlike the previous one, the story begins with a chapter from Death Note One-Shot Special (according to Death Note Wiki). This movie was good, and it does conclude the Relight collection, but disappointed that some parts were taken off. But it was neat to see L speak to us.
