CARDS: YU-GI-OH! Battle Pack: Epic Dawn

Have you ever looked a common or rare card and thought, “You know what? This could be shinier!” We certainly have, and we’re happy to report that a cure for shine deprivation has been discovered: Starfoil Cards!

What’s a Starfoil Card?
Starfoil Cards are similar to the shiny cards that come out of the Duel Terminal machines, but instead of the “broken glass” pattern you see on Duel Terminal cards, Starfoil Cards have a cascade of starbursts running down them that would make an astronomer giddy!

Where do I get Starfoil Cards?
One Starfoil Card is available in every pack of Battle Pack: Epic Dawn. The way it works is that there are 220 cards in the Battle Pack: Epic Dawn set: 55 Rares and 165 Commons. But every one of those cards also exists as a Starfoil Card. (For info about Battle Packs, click HERE.)

You get one wild card in every Battle Pack, and that wild card is also your Starfoil Card. But that’s not the only way to get Starfoil Cards. Battle Packs are specially designed for Sealed Pack Play, which means that there are some cards that just can’t ever be in a Battle Pack, but would still look great as a Starfoil Card. That’s why 20 non-Battle Pack cards were chosen to receive the Starfoil Treatment as well, and you can only get them as prizes at Battle Pack Tournaments!

Battle Pack Tournaments are exactly what they sound like. When you sign up, you get some Battle Packs, open them, build a Deck from the cards you got in those Battle Packs, and that’s the Deck you use for the tournament! So far, 6 of the Battle Pack Tournament Prize Cards have been revealed: Icarus Attack, Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, Blackwing Armor Master, Spirit Reaper, Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth, and Mystic Shine Ball!

Stay tuned for more information on Battle Packs and Battle Pack Tournaments as we get closer to the 5/29 release of Battle Pack: Epic Dawn!

They can be around $40-50, or $80 and above (depending on how many packs there are in the booster box).
I'd say to save around $60-80 as they prices are usually between $40 and $90.
