Cover
art by Masashi Kishimoto
This cover is quite timely, as we just got back from SakuraCon a couple weeks ago! You can read about our antics right HERE! Also, if you look close at Sai’s drawing, it’s a picture of Naruto from his perspective. Nice touch.

Bleach
by Tite Kubo
Wow, this new arc is starting off on the wacky foot! Super powerful dudes in uniforms tearing up all the Hollows and Arrancars in Hueco Mundo! I get the feeling this arc is gonna be a little different.

Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
I have to say I’ve always like Kabuto. He’s a great villain because his true motives have always been a mystery. And to see him become so powerful to the point that he can stand on his own against Itachi and Sasuke is amazing. The legacy of Orochimaru lives on!

Toriko
Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
This current arc of Toriko is straight out the 36 Chambers of Shaolin! Toriko and Komatsu are trying to learn how to truly honor food at the Chowlin Temple. But they have to conquer their egos and learn to be humble. As a kid who grew up on crazy kung-fu movies, this arc is cracking me up!

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan
by Hiroshi Shiibashi
The battles between Rikuo and his toughest allies against the best of the Gokadoin Clan have officially begun! I love the fights in this manga. For one, they’re amazingly drawn. And secondly, the yokai powers are so varied and tripped out.

Bakuman
story by Tsugumi Ohba, art by Takeshi Obata
Now that the storm’s over with Miho Azuki being a voice actor in the Reversi anime, Muto Ashirogi can get on with their business of trying to end the Reversi manga! This manga really makes me wonder how much of it is based on Ohba and Obata’s real experiences. I wonder if they had a hard time convincing their editor to let them end Death Note, like Muto Ashirogi does with Reversi. We’ll never know, but it sure is fun to think about!

What do y'all think about this issue? And Kabuto!

Yeah, I really have been wonder about that (Death Note and Reversi). Btw, did the manga end before the anime was broadcasted on Television (talking about Death Note)?

The last volume of Death Note came out 5 months before the anime started.
