Unresponsive Customer Support

I have been trying to contact Customer support for the past week and have received no responses. It is an inquiry about my subscription which just expired, when i should have a year on it. I have sent several messages to the proper address. Can anyone help me or tell me why I am not getting any responses?

to whom it may concern, i have not recived my slifer the sky dragon promo yet i understand that there is a delay in shipping but find this turn of events unacceptable . the card was orignally gonna ship end of july then on aug. 14th and suppossed to arriving no later then aug 21st now i have to wait till aug. 27th till it even gets shipped and another week for it to arrive yet when i signed up for alpha your advertisement said "

so my question is why have i not got my promo ive waited patinently since the end of july now i find out they were given to new subscribers at gencon on aug. 17-18th. now if im not mistaken i thought i was supposed to get this promo at my doorstep before its avalible anywhere else? gencon is avalible some where else so why do i have to wait? this is very upsetting and feel that the shonenjump has let me down not only did i not get my promo card before anywhere else but now i still dont have what was advertized to me being the promo cards being sole reason for my subscription to your publication . so help me out here ive waited patiently since end of july two delays and still waiting so feel this matter needs to be resolved quickly . when you pay for something you expect to get what you pay for i paid for slifer and 3 other promos to my door before anywhere else your company has fail to deliver so how are you gonna fix this ?

Okay, I can actually answer this.

First of all, when we originally put out estimated dates (key word is "estimated"), we did this with the intent of trying to be as transparent as possible with our readers so that they were updated on things like when they could expect cards. The only promise that was given out when ALPHA first launched was that yearly members who began their membership before the SHOCK MASTER promo would receive a total of four cards. Again, the dates were guesstimates and not meant to be set in stone.

Secondly, the Gen Con promotion was supposed to be timed so that members would recieve their cards at the same time. Those who received SLIFER at cons are members, so technically, it is the members who are getting that card. Also, what we mean when we say members get this card first is that the card is not available in another product released by Konami.

Lastly, the card is being shipped out. Expect to receive it anytime from the end of this week to next week. Also, you will get your four cards regardless of specific dates by the end of your yearly membership.
Hope this helps and sorry again for any issues/problems/misunderstandings.

One last thing, we have no records of emails being sent from your account. I'll bring that up with our tech guys because it could be a troublesome issue if that is the case.

Do i have to have my attorney file a false advertiseorment suit or can i just talk to a customer serv. rep. ? What we mean when we say members get this card first is that the card is not available in another product released by Konami. Gen Con people who got SLIFER are ALPHA members. And I've alerted our tech guys about this thread, so please calm down.

This is what it says:

So basically, your gripe is over ALPHA members getting the card first (people at Gen Con who got the cards became ALPHA members)...which is what we're pretty much saying. We're not responsible over ALPHA members and what they choose to do with that card. If they sell it, that's their choice and it's coming from a person and not a company. Konami is not releasing SLIFER to their consumers before ALPHA members get it.

if you havent recieved shock master and it was re released into a different set, then you can sue as long as you have that card and no shock master from jump
sueing these guys now means you won't win because the card wasnt released in another set, meaning there still upholding their promise

The people who sighned up were not members at the time. They sighned up, and became members. They were not supposed to be able to sighn up, and get Slifer because the deadline was july 11th, and Shock Master should've never been an option either since it was way before Slifer. The fact is you are guilty of false advertisement. Make up as many excuses as you want, but your company is guilty of lieing about how things were going to be handled. Gen con members should've never been given the card that we have all been patiently waiting for. That is the bottom line. I speak for all of us when I say that Gen Con should've never given out any card to the new members there untill we had our cards in our hands. dude i just realized i havent gotten my slifer either :( i have benn waiting for it forver... and my birthday passed 3 days ago i was hopeful and i was let down while other noobs got the card befor 1 a allready paying customer (and ive subsribed at least for two years (i know cause i have the 2009 editions of shonen jump) now im just confused and a bit sad (not frustrated liek deathnote 1987 above me after my rant i just tried waiting a bit more and sadly no avail :(

I'm not frustrated foffyyoul5. I am just backing PurpleLady up on what they are saying cause they are right. Think about it why did people at Gen con get a card on the spot for sighning up that day? You should have had your card in hand by now regardless of delay. By my count there have been 3 to 4 delays. Why are the people who have followed the rules patiently get delayed, and why did the people who sighned up at gen con get their cards before loyal patient members. It's the principal that PurpleLady is trying to get you all to see. If anything you guys will listen to shonen jump blindly waiting by what they say. If I were you I would only wait untill this new delay ends, and if you don't receive your cards by then. That would be the time to act. I am only going to wait for this delay to end, and then I will act accordingly, but right now i'm just backing PurpleLady up since they seem to be the only one trying to do anything at the momment. I ask you. Why don't you have your card?

I've Only Seen 1 Delay From Slifer So Far...And Btw, Gen-Con Giving Out The Cards Is Called Incentive For Signing Up, And The Only Reason They Gave Them Away Then, Was Because They Didn't Know Slifer Was Delayed Until After Gen-Con Was Already Over.

Lately I've been hearing all these people complain how they're not getting their Slifer on time. But will y'all give it a rest?! The guys at SJ have been working their butts off so that they could bring all this great stuff to us! Sure the wait is unbearable, but at least give them some credit. If you want to complain about something, just write an angry letter and throw it away! Otherwise, it's best to keep it to yourself, if you know that your words are goin to hurt someone.

So I have a question for you? If you were told that shonen jump was going to give you a million bucks would you listen? Lol you guys that are backing shonenjump up are the reason that they can pull the strings right in front of you and you would gladly jump without thinking for yourself how things work. I only have this to say: If you don't get your money on time I am sure you would throw up a complaint in a heartbeat. Also did you guys actually pay attention to the delay before the 11th? Before you assume you know anything maybe you should check your facts. Bottom line from me is I will wait untill the end of this delay, but I will not be waiting any longer than that. I expect that everyone else who has waited, and feels like they are being played for fools will agree. Any of you who have voices would have spoken up along time ago. I have read most of the complaints which date further than july 11th. I will only wait untill the end of this delay.

Ok, i have ofically had it with everything thats been going on, i feel like i've been betrayed by everyone and everybody's complaining about a number of things, it seems that there are certain people i can rely on about these hard times. My best Friend got dumped by a guy who is now dating one of his ex girlfriends, that is low, thats all i'm saying y'all and to lie to her as well, you really are pathetic, should've never dated her in the first place dude. It's been a Year, I am unsure when exactly I transferred my subscription to Alpha, but it was around the Shock Master Promotion card's announcement

But I Have NEVER received any of the cards in my deal, please help.
