Suggestions to the forum...

Forums:

It'd be nice if the forum had avatars, signatures, a easier way to change names(I still don't know how yet, but I some members with differen't user names). I'd also like it if when you post it doesn't look like you just made a comment to a blog and looked as if most forums do (Typical example would be the Anime News Network forums, Arlong Park forums, FUNimation forums). I am sure I can list more, but these are just things to start out with.

Maybe use phpBB architecture?

Yep, that'd be awesome type of forum to use.

I agree, the forums are kinda bland. I'd suggest something like http://www.apforums.net/

I would like to see spoiler tags!

I know phpBB has options for spoiler tags and I'm sure vBulletin (the architecture APForums uses) has them, too.

Ya, it would be cool to have avatars

Spoiler tags on in the works now. Avatars are a little further out. I'm not sure about phpBB architecture. I'll bring it up to our tech-bot 9,000 guy. The forums aren't bland, they're "easy to navigate." ; )

Thanks!

Urian, it would be good if users like yourself and other official Viz people could have posting names in the forums that were highlighted or a different color, so it would be obvious you are a moderator. Just a thought.

We're working on distinguishing who the moderators will be. For now, the editors moderating the forum will be myself and Urian Brown.
