Sorry for the delay, but rest assured that your copy of Slifer the Sky Dragon will be shipped on August 27. Expect to receive it about a week after that date (it can be a little bit earlier or later depending on your postal service and location).

I've waited so long to get this card. The longer I wait, the more intense my planning becomes for its first use. I've got tea candles, a blacklight, a fog machine, a deck built to maximize slifer's power, and most importantly, victims-to-be. When I get this card, all duelist Hell will be broken loose. heh heh

Sorry guys i'm stupid i didn't realize that i could get to my account by clicking on the shipping for slifer icon. Where it says members go here to input your mailing address in your Viz manga account. I found my profile with my shipping address and everything else so... I'm just an idiot. Sorry for posting so many comments.

I placed my address on my vizmanga account page about 3 months prior. I made no changes to the address when July 31st came by. However, I saved my account settings on July 31st, despite not making any changes. Is this going to hurt my chances of getting Slifer?

I already did. I placed my current address three months ago. It's been ready for quite some time. However, I saved my account settings on July 31st, as I have been for several days, to make sure it is there. I need to know if hitting the "save account savings button" on July 31st would hurt my chances of getting my address on the list of eligible addresses for the shipping for Slifer, even though I made no changes to the address and the address has been confirmed by the Shonen Jump team to be fine. John, I'm begging you, I don't know how or when the Shonen Jump team collects addresses, please tell if whether or not my address is on the list of eligible addresses for Slifer (if you can)! I can't afford to miss Slifer after waiting so long for this!

Theoretically, you should be okay. If by around August 22 you still haven't received SLIFER, let us know.

Thank you John. I was getting very worried about that. See, I don't know how data is collected from our vizmanga profiles. I don't know what time of day exactly does the team look at all the addresses and actually sends that information to whoever is shipping the cards. I thought that it would be safe for me to just hit "save" on what I have for a shipping address on July 31st, assuming that you guys mean't July 31st AT THE LATEST. But then, I hear from people saying to have the address checked and updated BEFORE July 31st, as if the time that your team actually collects the addresses is July 31st. Since I have been saving my account savings, including my shipping address, which I've had on there for months now, over and over again for several days until just hours before August 1st, I got really worried that, by doing that, your information department was not going to show my address on that list of eligible addresses because of the possibility that it is still being seen as being updated. I already emailed the Shonen Jump Team to tell me if my address is on that list or not, but it seems to take weeks for them to respond. I wish you guys can explain to me how and when the team collects the addresses. But at least if I let you guys know, Slifer can still be mailed to me if it doesn't come in as promised, right? Is that what you mean by letting you know if Slifer does not come in by around August 22?

Is it going to be announced that copies of Slifer the Sky Dragon is just starting to be shipped to everyone. I'm curious about this kind of process and I need to know if my copy of Slifer is being shipped.

Honestly, I work in editorial, so what you read at the top of this thread is all that I know. I'm not that involved with the production end of card shipping and fulfillment.

John, I sent an e-mail to the Shonen Jump Alpha team, asking if they can tell me if my shipping address is on the list of eligible addresses for the shipping of Slifer the Sky Dragon. They responded with a completely irrevalant message that talks about fixing your viz manga app. This didn't answer my question about Slifer at all and my account is working just fine. Seriously, why is this happening?

I wonder where they are shipped out from?
I think Shonen Jump is still located in San Fransisco but I wouldn't think they'd be shipped out from there.
I know some people have already got theirs since they are selling them on ebay lol

Arizona is where I live. But I haven't yet gotten my Slifer only my cousin and friend have and they both got three copies of Slifer the Sky Dragon. I just hope I have the same issue happen with my delivery of Slifer.

Holy cow!! Your Slifer came in and the envolope had three Slifers? If they are having the same issue as what they had with two Shockmasters, then that means everyone is going to get three copies of Slifer. How awsome is that?!
