STEREOPONY, an all-girls rock band from Okinawa is currently visiting the U.S. and playing some shows! And now you can win a pair of tickets to go see them in either San Francisco, Hollywood, or Santa Ana!
On April 9–11, we are hosting Twitter promotion on @shonenjump for a free pair of tickets to go to the STEREOPONY live show for the next day. Each contest will be open for an hour. To enter the contest, be sure to follow our Twitter account and wait for the instructions. The time periods for the promotion are as follows:
4/10 (Tue): San Francisco, CA at Slim’s
Promotion begins at 3 PM Pacific time and ends 4 PM Pacific time.
4/11 (Wed): Hollywood, CA at Key Club
Promotion begins at 11 AM Pacific time and ends 12 PM Pacific time.
4/12 (Thu): Santa Ana at YOST Theater
Promotion begins at 2 PM Pacific time and ends 3 PM Pacific time.

STEREOPONY is best known to anime fans for their debut single "Hitohira No Hanabira," which was the 17th ending theme song for the Bleach anime. Released on November 5, 2008, the song ranked #25 on the Oricon Weekly Charts. Their second single, "Namida No Muko,” was the second opening theme song for the second season of the Sunrise series Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and reached #2 on the Oricon charts. They have also done theme songs for other anime series including Darker than Black and Tegami Bachi: REVERSE. STEREOPONY has released two chart-topping studio albums—A Hydrangea Blooms and Over the Border.
STEREOPONY consists of AIMI (vocal/guitar), NOHANA (bass), and SHIHO (drums). The band gained their first opportunity on the Japanese rock radio program “SCHOOL OF LOCK!”
