Number 88: Gimmick Puppet of Leo

[Machine/Xyz/Effect]
STATS: ATK 3200 / DEF 2300, DARK, Rank 8
REQUIREMENTS: 3 Level 8 monsters 

Once per turn, if you have no cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, and if you do, place 1 Destiny Counter on this card. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect. When 3 Destiny Counters are on this card, you win the Duel.

Definitely a strong card, and the second Gimmick Puppet. I saw a lot of complaints that people wanted this, so I hope people are happy that they can get it.

this is a good coolecting card. i like cards taht let you win via card effect. still tho ish it would have been chi9cken. that would have been a $50 dolla promo and a good one 2. oh well . this guys still good.

Did they change the name? "Destiny Leo" sounded so much cooler. "of Leo" sounds too bland.

I couldn't agree more with that. And who knows? They might change it back of the preliminary reviews from the fans is too negative, though I could be wrong. Hooray (nearly) blind optimism!

What I meant was is that it should not be a promo card. At least not before Number 15 or Giantrainer or many other cards that were in the poll. If anything, it should be released in Cosmo Blazer if possible, along with the Fire Fists (which it would work best with).

In a way, I do agree, but it looked like Konami decided not to release it in Cosmo Blazer, so it would have been a great addition to the Cosmo Blazer release if we got it instead of Leo, because we cannot really control what they release in the booster set, but we can vote on what we get from JUMP

Whatever, I am sure it will be released eventually, but probably not as an SJ promo. Either way, I am sure everybody will get the cards they want in the end (hopefully they will not have to wait 12 years for it like Crimson Sunbird).

So, when is the next poll for the 6th tcg promo? Apparently, I missed the 5th one (almost as if it didn't even occur, and it was JUMP that chose it and not the subscriber). Anyway, let's try to get Wolfberk or Yaksha (if they are not released in any other upcoming set or structure deck for the tcg).

The poll was promoted through this site, in newsletters, on pojo, and on social media. Next time, just be sure to check the site regularly and you won't miss it.

As for the sixth card, I'm not sure we'll hold a poll on that one. It really depends on what cards become available as promotions in Japan. Also, the 5th card poll was actually really close, so we might consider bringing out the second-place card.

nah... i would MUCH rather have chicken- it could easily be 40-50 bucks. wolfberk could be ~35-40 also. i really want it to be chicken since i want to make fire fists (not being biased) and it would be way harder and bulled up 2 get if it was an ultra import in a set.

FYI, we don't give out dates in advance anymore. Last time we tried giving an estimated ship date with SLIFER, everyone took that date as the final deadline when in fact it was just a guesstimate. When the card is shipped, we'll let everyone know.
