Naoshi Komi, creator of the hilarious rom-com series Nisekoi, took some time from his busy schedule of drawing cute girls for an exclusive interview!

Weekly Shonen Jump: How did you start your career as a manga creator?

Naoshi Komi: I made my debut in 2007 in Akamaru Jump, a magazine that features many newcomers.

WSJ: What manga series are your biggest influences?

NK: This may come as a surprise, but my biggest influence is One Piece!

WSJ: Which girl character from Nisekoi would you want to be with in these different scenarios:
A. At karaoke?
B. Watching a scary movie?
C. Having a picnic?
D. Going to a sumo tournament?
E. Eating at a fancy restaurant?
