You already know that Shaddolls, Yang Zing, Nekroz, Ritual Beast Tamers and ’tellarknights each got two new Zefra Pendulum Monsters from Crossed Souls, but what you might not know is that each of them got a brand-new finisher monster to help you close out Duels!

Tellarknight Ptolemaeus is an Xyz Monster that can be Summoned with two to five Level 4 monsters and has three different effects. The first lets it attach a “Stellarknight” monster from your Extra Deck to itself as an Xyz Material at the end of each turn. The second detaches three Xyz Materials during either player’s turn to “rank-up” Ptolemaeus into any non-“Number” Rank 5 Xyz Monster. And the final effect skips your opponent’s next turn by detaching seven Xyz Materials from Ptolemaeus!

Chaofeng, Phantom of the Yang Zing is a Level 9 Synchro Monster that counts the number of different Attributes among its Synchro Materials to determine its effectiveness. While it’s on the field, your opponent can’t use the effects of any monster that shares an Attribute with one of the “Yang Zing” monsters used to Synchro Summon Chaofeng!

Nekroz of Sophia is Level 11 that needs three different Types of monsters to be Tributed as part of her Ritual Summon and needs to be the only monster you put on the field. If you pull it off, both sides of the field and both Graveyards are wiped clean of cards except for Sophia. And if that’s too rich for your blood, you can discard her and a “Nekroz” Spell to prevent your opponent from using their Extra Deck during Main Phase 1!

Ritual Beast Ulti-Gaiapelio is a new Fusion Monster that can banish “Ritual Beast” cards from your hand to negate any Spell/Trap Card or the effect of any monster that your opponent can activate. And it comes with 3,200 game-ending Attack Points!

Finally, Shaddolls complete their cycle of Attribute-based “El Shaddoll” Fusion Monsters with the WATER-Attribute El Shaddoll Anoyatyllis. Fittingly enough, Anoyatyllis prevents Special Summons from the hand or Graveyard by Spell/Trap Card effects, shutting down the WATER-based Nekroz Deck almost completely!
