Beat your opponent to the punch with these cards!

Speedroids put the “Speed” in High-Speed Riders! The primary function of Speedroid monsters is to Synchro Summon early and often, but they're so good at getting more and more monsters on the field and from their Deck that they even excel at Xyz Summoning and Tribute Summoning as well. Here’s how these terrifying toys make it all happen!

Everything starts with Speedroid Terrortop. This Level 3 WIND Machine-Type monster can be Special Summoned from your hand if you don't control any monsters. Whenever it’s Normal or Special Summoned, you can add another “Speedroid” monster from your Deck to your hand. There are multiple Tuners you can choose from, and even another Level 3 WIND Machine-Type monster that you can Special Summon to make a pair of Level 3 monsters!

Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice is the Speedroid that gives you the greatest variety of options when you claim it with Terrortop’s effect. It’s a Tuner monster that can shift the Level of another Speedroid you control to any Level from 1 to 6 when you Summon it. That means any time you draw Speedroid Terrortop while you don't control any monsters, you have the option to Summon almost any Synchro Monster from Levels 2 through 7! You could even use it to set up a Rank 1 Xyz Summon if you wanted to, though Synchro Summoning Formula Synchron is usually the better move if you change your other Speedroid to Level 1.

You can also use Speedroid Terrortop to add Speedroid Taketomborg to your hand. You can Special Summon Taketomborg from your hand if you control a WIND monster, and it can be Tributed to Special Summon any Speedroid Tuner from your Deck, though for the rest of the turn you’ll only be able to Special Summon WIND monsters. Why would you do this instead of just grabbing Red-Eyed Dice and Normal Summoning it? Because you want to leave your Normal Summon open to use on Speedroid Double Yoyo, which revives a Speedroid when it’s normal Summoned! A combo of Terrortop and Double Yoyo will result in two Synchro Summons in one turn, and you’ve got plenty of great WIND monsters to choose from!

The newest WIND Synchro Monster is the Level 5 Hi-Speedroid Chanbara, which can attack twice every turn and gains a permanent ATK boost each time it attacks. It can also retrieve banished “Speedroid” cards when it’s sent to the Graveyard, which is useful for re-using cards like Speedroid Tri-Eyed Dice, which you can banish to block an attack or to retrieve monsters that you banished to activate Shock Surprise—a Spell that can destroy up to two cards on the field! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, from Crossed Souls, is another great choice that packs a lot of power and diminishes the usefulness of your opponent’s high-Level monsters!
