The Winged Dragon of Ra – Sphere Mode can be Summoned to either side of the field by Tributing three monsters from that side of the field, but at the end of the next turn after it’s Summoned, Ra’s true master—the player who brought it to the Duel—will regain control of it. While it’s on the field, The Winged Dragon of Ra – Sphere Mode cannot participate in battle, nor can it be targeted by enemy card effects. It simply hovers above the field, waiting for its master’s order to unveil its true form!

You can Tribute The Winged Dragon of Ra – Sphere Mode to Special Summon The Winged Dragon of Ra from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions and setting its ATK and DEF to 4000 each! Plus, you can then activate Ra’s Phoenix Mode ability to burn away monsters for 1000 LP each to clear the way for your 4000 ATK Egyptian God Card! Combined with the ability to temporarily Summon The Winged Dragon of Ra – Sphere Mode to your opponent’s field by Tributing three of their monsters, it’s unlikely you’ll have to pay much LP to clear out the rest of your opponent’s army.
