Premium Gold: Return of the Bling is the sequel to last year’s Premium Gold, and like any good sequel it takes the best parts of the original and makes them even better!

One card being upgraded to Gold Rare for the first time comes from the very first booster pack ever, Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Raigeki is an immensely powerful Spell Card that destroys every monster your opponent controls, no question asked. It’s an amazing card that can go in any Deck, and yet it has never been a Gold Rare until now!

Just like in Premium Gold, Premium Gold: Return of the Bling has a lot of new cards making their stateside debut as dazzling Gold Secret Rares. This time, though, there are brand new cards for some of the most popular monster themes of all time, including Blackwing and Blackwing Synchro monsters, a new HERO Fusion Monster, a new Galaxy-Eyes Number monster, and even a game-saving variation on Starlight Road!

Premium Gold uses a new style of Gold Rare, so some cards that were previously Gold Rares were updated to use the new style. At the same time, cards that had never been Gold Rares before become Gold Rares for the first time. But this time, the numbers are flipped! Premium Gold had 18 cards getting the Gold Rare treatment for the first time with 40 previous Gold Rares making their return. Return of the Bling has 48 cards making their debut as Gold Rares with 22 returning. Of course, the number of updates vs. upgrades has been flipped as well. You’ll get six upgrades per box instead of three.
