Each of the 2015 Mega-Tins has a brand-new card exclusive to that tin. Synchro Monster Old Entity Hastorr is exclusive to the Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon Mega-Tin, and Elder Entity Norden is exclusive to the Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon Mega-Tin. Elder Entity Norden is a very peculiar card, but mastering it can turbocharge almost any strategy!

As a Fusion Monster, Elder Entity Norden is Fusion Summoned by fusing any Synchro or Xyz Monster with any Synchro or Xyz Monster. This isn’t likely to happen very often, however. It’s more likely that you’ll use the Spell Card Instant Fusion to skip the heavy Material requirement to Summon Norden just for one turn.

When Norden is Special Summoned in any way, you can target one Level 4 or lower monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it with its effects negated. That means that any time you can Summon Norden with a Level 4 monster in your Graveyard, you can Xyz Summon right away! Furthermore, any time you Summon Norden with a Level 4 or lower Tuner monster in your Graveyard, you can Synchro Summon right away. And if you happen to have a Ritual Spell and Ritual Monster in your hand, Norden can get you the monsters you need to Tribute for the Ritual Summon. That makes Norden useful in just about every Deck!

You can double up on your extra Summons by including cards like Call of the Haunted in your Deck as well. Because Instant Fusion is treated as a Fusion Summon, Elder Entity Norden can be revived after it’s sent to the Graveyard. And when you bring it back, you can activate its effect again for even more Summoning power!
