Return of the Bling: Synchros

Rev up your Duel game with eight great Synchro Monsters in Premium Gold: Return of the Bling.

Synchro Monsters originated in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s and are Summoned from your Extra Deck by sending a face-up Tuner monster and face-up non-Tuner monster(s) from your side of the field to the Graveyard. The monsters' total Levels that you sent to the Graveyard must add up to the Level of the Synchro Monster you want to Summon. Now it’s time to rev them up again with eight great Synchro Monsters in Premium Gold: Return of the Bling!

Crow’s Blackwings are one of the most popular Synchro-based themes of all time, and there are two brand-new Blackwing Synchro Monsters in Return of the Bling! Blackwing Tamer – Obsidian Hawk Joe is Level 7 and lets you Special Summon a Level 5 or higher Winged Beast once during each of your turns. That’s great for reviving fallen Blackwing Synchros or just reviving Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn to pile all your ATK into one monster for a huge attack! Hawk Joe can also deflect targeted card effects and attacks to your other Blackwings. Blackwing – Nothung the Starlight deals a quick 800 damage and weakens an enemy monster when he’s Summoned, but the main attraction is his ability to give you an extra “Blackwing” Normal Summon per turn! Now you can trigger your Black Whirlwinds twice per turn for unparalleled searching and destructive power!

Naturia Beast and Naturia Barkion strike fear into the hearts of Duelists everywhere! All of their Synchro Materials must be EARTH monsters, but combined they can lock your opponent out of all their Spells and Traps! Beast negates the activation of Spell Cards by sending two cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard. Barkion negates Traps by banishing two cards from your Graveyard. They’re the perfect team in any Deck that runs EARTH Tuners and non-Tuners. Try them out in a Sylvan Deck alongside monsters like Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand to create the ultimate monster team!

Low-Level Synchro Monsters are usually the easiest to Summon, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be powerful! Formula Synchron, Goyo Guardian and Armades, Keeper of Boundaries are living proof that you don’t have to be high Level to have a high power level! Goyo Guardian is bigger than many of his Level 7+ contemporaries, clocking in at 2800 ATK for a Level 6 Synchro with the ability to lasso any monster he destroys over to your side of the field. Armades is Level 5 with 2300 ATK and ensures that every battle he’s involved in is strictly by the numbers, unless his controller wants to change those numbers. Ygo Elite8 4Finally, Formula Synchron lets you draw a card just for Summoning it and is a Tuner Synchro Monster that you can use to Synchro Summon during either player’s turn.

And that leaves poor old 4000 ATK Dragocytos Corrupted Nethersoul Dragon. It’s not very good at making friends, but it is really good at shredding through monsters and Life Points! Give it a try if you can assemble a DARK Tuner and one non-Tuner Dragon-Type monster whose Levels add up to ten.

Premium Gold: Return of the Bling is available now, but at the rate Duelists are gobbling it up, who knows how long it’ll remain available? If you’re looking to bling out your Deck or grab the new Gold Secret Rares, now’s the time!
